The trouble is by the same arguments Tiger Woods should have retired before he one his last major. The truly great players, and Federer is definitely one of those often have one last hurrah. I hope so even if it is unlikely

I think you are getting worked up about nothing really. It is just a musical ! You’re right about Totally Hot though, it is a great album

I have watched it and it struck me as an exercise in corporate robbery, but it was also quite scary how quickly it turned into a Lord Of The flies type scenario. The abuse of women and violence at the end with all the fires was more like a war zone than a festival.(though handing out candles was pretty stupid)

Two Fires at the Gods Of Aor, (possibly 2000). On paper they probably shouldn’t have headlined but they played possibly the greatest set list ever played on one stage. I have no idea if it was heavily rehearsed, or being an all-star line up they just winged it but they were awesome.

My first cd was Meat Loaf - Hits Out Of Hell. It was supposed to be Queen - A kind Of Magic but it came out on cd approx 4 or 5 weeks after the LPGA’s release. Edit, that should say lp’s release

I think Indiscreet 30 trumps them both. It has the songs of the original along with a much more warm production.

For what it is worth News Of The World was the first cassette I ever bought when I was a kid and I have bought pretty much everything ever since. Just because the lyrics may have been personal to Freddie or not does make it a serious song. indeed in many interviews Freddy has claimed that they are “just songs”. And as far ass shaking goes George Michael did an awesome version of the song at t

Prince’s Around The World In A Day for me. I remember being absolutely gutted when I first heard this. I was hoping for/expecting Purple Rain pt2 and this wasn’t it. But now with time, and accepting it on it’s own merit it has become one of my favourite albums

Todd Rungdren’s Utopia from 1974 is well worth checking out. If only for “The Ikon” which is 30 minutes long!

I’m sure Dino would do a great job but Jorn has been covering Whitesnake since he was in The Snakes with Moody and Marsden and would be even better.

I’m not sure why this is a “dumb” move or why anyone should get their knickers in a twist over it. As much as I don’t really understand it many other people have sold these tokens in other art forms and if people are prepared to pay for them then why shouldn’t anyone sell them.

For me Octoberon is their best although Ring Of Changes And Victim Of Circumstance Are probably the closest to melodic rock.
