There are plenty of places on the internet for idiots to argue about politics. If this board is turning into a political board, I will find other places to read about and discuss music.

Do you really expect an 80 year old man to sound like he did when he was 25? If you don't want to go see one of THE most influential guys to ever play rock music, then stay home. The sand is running out of the hour glass for these old guys, and I for one am going to as many concerts as I can. I missed Tom Petty even though he played my hometown 30 times at least in my life. I am not missing any o

This is just shitty journalism. I bought mid-price tickets to the Atlanta show the day they went on sale for $300. I did not see any $3000 tickets listed, and if there were any for that price it may have been just a few special seats or packages.

Wow this just sounds awful and unlistenable to me. Excuse me while I go out and yell at some kids to get off my lawn.

Saw this band of relative youngsters open for Cody Canada Friday night in Macon GA and they melted my face. I would say they would appeal to fans of Faster Pussycat, Quireboys, Buckcherry, Brother Cane, Georgia Satellites. They have one album out, and I can say they sound quite a bit to the harder side in person. PS: they played an absolutely smoking version of Whipping Post in the Hargray The

This is an interesting album- a bit uneven but with several really good songs. Radio in particular sounds like a long lost Greg Kihn song. Make Me a Believer could have been a Knack single in 1979. There is a piano ballad and lots of jangly Pettyesque guitar. I would love to hear what everyone else thinks about this album.

I can't say for sure what year I first visited this website, but it was definitely in the first five years that it existed. Since then I have visited the main page almost every day as part of my morning ritual. This website has provided me literally hundreds of hours of entertainment at this point. The year end review posts are some of my favorite things that I ever read on the internet. Even

I got eviscerated on this board in the past for saying I thought the production on 5150 was the worst of any VH album. I think F.U.C.K. holds up better than any of the Van Hagar albums from a production standpoint.

Sounds great, but the verses are very close to a country song called Loving County. Charlie Robison should at least get a co-writing credit.

Source? There is nothing on their Facebook about it, and tickets are still available to purchase... Edit: Nevermind now I see that it is the European leg of the tour. Come on over to the states and I will go to a show with you.

Love that first Beautiful Creatures album. If it came out in 88 they would have been huge.

Holy shit this show is hilarious and violent and dark. It has a great soundtrack that so far has included Wig Wam, Trixter, Y&T and especially the Quireboys. I think the members of this board will appreciate the tone of the show, but definitely the music.

Good song, but man the guitars and vocals sound bad on that. I hope this is not the final mix. If it is, it has to be one of the worst production jobs I have ever heard from a pro level band.

Wow that is a great song. I am looking forward to hearing the rest of the album. On a side note, does anyone know what kind of guitar the singer is playing?

My expectations were really low, but I have to say that is damn good. Modern production on a song that would be right at home on any classic Tull album. I get why people would prefer guitars and drums, but this is a different thing. This is in my top ten of the year I think.

Do the Go Gos deserve to be in there before Jethro Tull or Vanilla Fudge? Absolutely not. That is more the point.
