RIP. One of my earliest memories is hearing my older sister play her Please Come to Boston 45rpm 1,000 times.

Looking back to the 80s through the lens of today, I can see that Motley Crue is not great by most any measure, although my middle and high school self LOVED them. Warren Demartini's guitar playing objectively lifts RATT far above the level of Crue.

Congrats on making it this far in life before subjecting your ears to that boring pretentious nonsense.

What a droning pile of shit Radiohead is. I would rather listen to the Shaggs 24/7 than spend five minutes listening to Radiohead and their pretentious nonsense. I am baffled by the esteem that many hold for this band. They are, hyperbole aside, the WORST fucking band in the universe.

Hey everyone! Just heard about the joint tour with George Thorogood and John Fogerty live. Seriously, can it get any better than this? "Bad to the Bone" and "Fortunate Son" in one night? Count me in! This is going to be epic. Both legends on one stage? It's like a rock dream come true. I'm so pumped to rock out to the classics and maybe lose my voice singing along. I

Saw this band in 2022 in Macon GA. They are amazing! Any fans of the bluesier/less polished side of melodic rock should love TDR.

This is not the worst thing I ever heard, but it drones a bit. Would be better with a little different mix. Jack's voice sounds good.

VV is clearly struggling to function, and I find no humor in the situation. It is undeniable that at one time he had a lot of talent and abilities. It appears that he has made several good faith attempts to hold it together enough to work over the years. Imagine the pain of being so mentally ill/agoraphobic/whatever that you can't function, and random assholes on the internet dehumanize you by ca

Check out this song by Kurt Baker. It would have been right at home on Huey Lewis' Picture This album. Great old school pop-rock. His song Don't Go Falling in Love sounds like the first Huey Lewis and the News album. Amazing considering this guy was born in 1987. Let me know what you think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZXcvqXbcdg

It's easy enough to become an editor on Wikipedia and update the page. I am not being snarky, that is a genuine suggestion.

I have followed this story off and on for years. Members of this noticeboard are the perfect age to recognize this if anyone can. In my opinion it was recorded in 1983 or 1984 by a European band, probably German. There is a subreddit where they have done a ton of sleuthing. I really hope this one gets solved!

This band is on the soundtrack for a video game I have been playing, and WOW am I hooked on their sound. They remind me most of LA Guns or Junkyard. Looks like they opened for Steel Panther on some tour dates. Check them out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVXDT9ZIGZw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlmOm_sUzkM

For around $5 USD you can get a private VPN and login to Amazon, YouTube etc, with a US IP address. It is streaming on both in the US. I use Nord VPN.

I was lucky enough to catch a John Waite full band show live last night in Woodstock GA. Holy shit, it was great! John and the band sounded amazing. They started off with an acoustic, and then a rocking version of All Along the Watchtower, then played all the hits and popular songs from his entire career. One of the encore songs was an absolutely amazing cover of Whole Lotta Love. This is a DO NO

There are plenty of places on the internet for idiots to argue about politics. If this board is turning into a political board, I will find other places to read about and discuss music.

Do you really expect an 80 year old man to sound like he did when he was 25? If you don't want to go see one of THE most influential guys to ever play rock music, then stay home. The sand is running out of the hour glass for these old guys, and I for one am going to as many concerts as I can. I missed Tom Petty even though he played my hometown 30 times at least in my life. I am not missing any o

This is just shitty journalism. I bought mid-price tickets to the Atlanta show the day they went on sale for $300. I did not see any $3000 tickets listed, and if there were any for that price it may have been just a few special seats or packages.
