Anomaly was one of the worst things he’s ever released. Couldn’t go anymore than 4 spins. For mine, the first Frehley Comet album is my fave. I think the dual vocals of Ace and Todd worked great, and ofcourse Anton Fig. Second Sighting and Trouble Walkin’ also have some great songs.

Very much looking forward to this. And I also, had no idea Jona was a pretty good guitarist. Production sounds huge.

I remember reading/hearing that HITS is indeed demos. Carr playing on Genes and Eric Singer playing on Paul’s. At this point, Carr and Paul’s relationship was wavering, and Eric Singer had just played on Paul’s ‘88 solo tour. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ken Mary played on some of Genes, as Gene was pushing for Ken to join KISS when Eric Carr passed away.

Jean has definitely talked to me about the possibility of re-recording Raw Thorns so I guess the idea isn’t dead in the water. Every time I talk to him, I bring it up haha. I guess it’s just a timing thing. Actually, it was Prince (before he passed), that suggested to Jean to go back as “Jean Beauvoir”. His look was so iconic during The Plasmatics, and the “Feel The Heat” period. J

As a good friend of Jean’s I can tell you that COT is pretty much done and dusted at this point. Jean is 100% focusing himself as a solo artist. He has his autobiography due sometime this year. I have always been in his ear to re-record Raw Thorns and give these songs the justice they deserve. The album certainly contains some of the best songs he’s written. Other than writing for a fe

I’m really hoping for a better 2nd effort. I think I listened to the debut twice. Just couldn’t get attached to it. For mine, the songs just weren’t there, These 2 new songs sound a lot better.

Very satisfying to see Crazy Nights high up. Very underrated album IMO. No surprises with Destroyer and Creatures being really high, but I must say, as a big fan, I was shocked to see Dynasty at #3. I honestly wouldn’t have it in my top 12. Unmasked would be a much stronger album with better production. The KISS debut should be top 5, along with Dressed To Kill. Animalize at #21 shou

Paul can do things on his own terms. This was always a project close to his heart. He won’t do a new KISS album because he knows sales won’t make it viable, so why should he care majorly on sales for Soul Station? As others have said, he grew up on this music way before Zeppelin, Humble Pie etc. He knows, vocally, that he can pull this off, and tbh I think his voice holds up very well on th

Nevison hated Sword and Stone, but loved Bang Bang You ;) This was Paul at his height vocal wise. Time Traveller, like Sword and Stone deserved an official release. Best man for you, Don’t Let Go and When Two Hearts Collide weren’t officially written for a KISS album. Paul was delving into the idea of writing songs for other artists in 87/88/89. Best Man For You was co-written by Jean B

Great to see some love guys...as a huge KISS fan, and a fan of bands with “image”, I was drawn to these guys immediately. The main singer, Kristian, does sound like a Paul Stanley clone on a good chunk of songs (which I love). For mine, they have released 3 really cool albums. Would love to see these guys live one day.

KISS changed to stay relevant, and as they are still going in some form, you really have to give kudos to Paul in particular for driving that car to allow that. Every album from Dynasty to HITS has really good songs. The thing that hurt most of the albums was the production, not necessarily the song quality. For instance, “Magic Touch” is an ok song on Dynasty, but absolutely kicked ass li

Swedish rock band STARMEN have just released their 3rd album “By The Grace Of Rock N Roll”. Absolutely love this band, and with a new bass player, both he and the main singer, share lead on the new album...with all 4 members doing lead on the title track. They have released 3 high quality albums in my opinion. What’s your thought on the band? Check out their latest single here h

Well said. It’s no secret this is the music that got Paul on his journey (before led zeppelin, humble pie etc etc). He’s got the $$ to put into it, and obviously enjoys what he’s doing. He said he doesn’t expect the majority of KISS fans to dig it, but that has never stopped him before (doing Phantom of the Opera). It’s his project and he’s ensembled a group of musicians that will

Agree Aussie Dave. Paul held the band together with all the glue and band aids he could muster. Gene was pretty much awol from 84-91. And when you look over that above list of mostly Paul tracks, he really had some very good output. Song wise, and vocally, I still rate Crazy Nights as one of their best out of their non makeup albums.

I thought the debut was very Blah, but this is much better. Lynch absolutely kills in in that solo. He sounds inspired here, and what an extended solo. Got sounds of Tooth and Nail would should please any Lynch/Dokken fans. I’m hoping for a lot better things this release, and this is a good start.

His projects for mine are just all starting to sou d the same. If he’s taking Stryper to more Metal, I’d like to see him take his solo efforts more into his 94 solo album vein. Not only does he have the sunbomb and the Nathan James group etc coming out, but he’s also working on an uplifting album that’s being recorded/mixed/mastered now. Writing for the new Stryper starts in June I thi

Terry, this was posted on Ronnies Facebook page in mid October 2020.. As promised a week ago here’s a little update on my current health situation. I’m not gonna go into details, but just state that unfortunately I’m still battling cancer!! After some pain issues and following a scan just before Easter this year I was told that the cancer had spread and I was diagnosed with stage

Saw Cher in Vegas in 2019 with Joe on guitar. A great show, but certainly not 100% live vocal wise (yeah and I know KISS aren’t either haha) But for her age, she is definitely still going strong. Has a great catalogue of hits as well.

The new one is definitely better than “Non Stop” and “Wall Street”. No doubt about that. I really like the start of the new one, but I just find the last 4 severely lacking, causing a massive letdown at the bottom end of the CD. I can certainly see why “Never Say Die” was the first single, coz it’s a HUGE sounding song and that song is a great return to form. As I said, it’
