I'm a big Rush fan but I don't like this album at all, apart from a couple of tracks.

IMHO their music is over rated (although not on this forum), but their impact was significant. Quite an achievement for a bang average band.

The Temperance Movement have a new album out later this year - November I think. It's called Covers & Rarities.

I already have tickets for Kiss (postponed to March), Marcus King and John 5/ Jared James Nichols. I don't really have any great desire to head back into crowded venues though. I'll go and see a couple of old favourites if they tour Oz again, such as Maiden or Leppard, and maybe bands I like that I've never seen before. Beyond that I see my future being largely gig free.

The Tattoo You reissue has got a whole 9 track unreleased album attached to it! Apparently none of it heard before.

I've become a big fan over Vic last 5 or 6 years. I always liked their hits but wouldn't have called myself a fan before that. It's hard to go past that run of Beggars Banquet, Let it Bleed, Sticky Fingers and Exile for essential albums. Of those two, Sticky Fingers and Exile On Main St are my favourites. A lot of their albums that came after that are great too, especially if you aren't a S

I love the Olympics - always have. I've watched a fair bit and plan on watching a lot more. The commitment and dedication in sports most of us would never normally watch is inspiring.

RIP Dusty, you will be missed. The last time I saw them was in 2011 when they were in Oz for Bluesfest - I saw their Melbourne sideshow at Festival Hall. They were superb.

That sounds great! Thanks for posting. Not a band I'm very familiar with. I recently picked up the vinyl of The Unheavenly Creatures cheaply and I loved it. I've also got The Color Before The Sun which is also great. I need to investigate them more.

I'm not a fan, and the occasional snippet of his stuff I had heard hasn't done anything for me. There is a bit of hype about this album so I gave it a listen. Good lord it is boring! Great guitar tone, but that's it for me. He makes Journey sound like Rammstein.

I really liked it on first listen. I think it sounds a bit different to their other late era output, so I am excited for any news about the new album.

I haven't heard his new one yet. I picked up the vinyl of Heat for a stupid price on Amazon Prime Day, and that is pretty good. I've never been a big fan of Jimmy but I am more keen to hear him after reading his books.

I like U2. Under A Blood Red Sky is one of my favourite live albums from the eighties and brings back great memories for me. I prefer their more 'rock's songs too, but Achtung Baby and The Joshua Tree are fantastic albums that I listen to a lot.

I would actually sign up for this if it was offered in Australia. Back in my vinyl buying heyday I bypassed a lot of this stuff as I wanted my Kiss, Maiden, Priest etc. Now I am starting to dip my toe back in the vinyl waters again (on a very limited, budgeted basis), some of these 'classics' at a reasonable price seems like a good deal.

This album has never done it for me as a Def Leppard album. I think it is good for what it is, but I would prefer it was a bit more rocking. My least favourite DL album.

That's a great list of classic albums. If I was off to a desert island that would pretty much do me, although as Bon Jovi have dropped completely off my radar over the years I would have a Maiden album in there instead. And Physical Graffiti!!
