Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here. As for doubles, I was in such a frenzy of CD shopping on a trip to Japan, when I got home to check my haul, I had picked up two copies of the same Royal Hunt CD!!!!! And to catalogue the collection, I just use Discogs, it's free.

Kind of hear a Motorhead vibe in there as well. Might just be picking up my first Metallica album in a very long time next year.

Not a big fan of Christmas songs either, but this ain't too bad at all. More importantly it's great to see the band releasing something new and fingers crossed this leads onto a new album.

Missed opportunity or tarnished rep? I would suggest Baton Rouge's appearance at Firefest was a huge missed opportunity. I remember telling a friend how good the band were and that performance happened......

I love all the Britny Fox releases but I do think that Bite Down Hard was the best of the first three albums from the band. That said I enjoy each of them for what they are.

Thanks Andrew, have tried again and order gone through now all fine. Probably just a glitch with PP earlier.

Tried ordering a couple MRC titles and when goes through to PayPal I get an error message at point of payment saying try later. Not sure if issue is with PayPal or stems from point of order. Thought I'd mention this in case anyone else has an issue.

I have both and I can't really can't tell the difference in sound, but they are great packages. What I'm really waiting on though is Rage For Order, now that will be fantastic.

Will be seeing them on Saturday at the O2. Sounds like I'm in for a good night. Been doing some homework on the Archtects and like what I hear, not sure how they will come across live.

Sad News just in. DAN MCCAFFERTY of Nazareth has passed away at 76. Took me a while to really appreciate Nazareth but once I did I really enjoyed a good few of their albums.

I have the Rock Candy version and sounds great. Happy to be corrected, but I believe that the RC version is from the orignal tapes and the B.R version isn't.

Well I'm looking to bag Wembley tickets and will look forward to it. I do think they'll add another couple decent support bands, as saw a poster with Europe, Alterbridge, Nestor, D.A.D and one other band playing on Europe mainland somewhere.

Giving this a first spin now and very impressed with it. In fact it's criminal that this could be overlooked due Frontiers obsession in releasing a 1000 albums every month.

Arrived safely but just not had chance to hear anything yet. Will have to wait until the weekend before it gets any attention, but does look a mightily impressive package.

Great band and seen them live on many occasions, including when Mike Peters from the Alarm joined them for a tour and album, which is worth listening too.

I love Shiraz Love, and was looking forward to the new album based on Carnival Days and the last EP..... However early reports aren't so good. However a quick listen to some of the samples up on YouTube led me to purchasing a copy, really not sounding too bad imho.

Um, tricky questions to answer. My favorites probably stem from the UK, but the US has such diverse genres and choice of bands....Then there's Canada and Sweden and Norway and Germany..Damn it. OK, I'll say the USA.

My Advice would be the beginning at the S/T through to IV. The relaunch albums are a mix new, cover and live tunes. Wherever you start I think you'll be ok though.

Sadly it's not just alcohol anymore. Coke seems to be the recreational drug of choice and seems be to be coming more and more prevalent in social settings including gigs. It's not nicknamed marching powder for nothing here in the UK, Mixed with alcohol some think they can take on the world.

How many spins? Not enough that's for sure. Like everyone else, time is the key factor. I purchase quite a few new releases, but also digging back in to older releases that passed me by and this all amounts to too many discs and not enough time. So, how many spins? Probably two to three if it grabs me on first listen, more if it really stands out such as Nestor.

When I used them regularly they were great. The only reason I stopped using Yes Asia was they dropped free shipping for a while. That and I stopped getting custom charges from CD Japan. I would use Yes Asia again, no issues what so ever.
