Carnal Knowledge by a long shot, but I will say that ALAE is underrated, I thought it was a nice return to form for DLR.

Great topic. 5150 for sure for me, but I will say EEAS is a very good album as well. Especially side 1.;0) (Side comment - I remember how much VH vs DLR was everywhere with my friends and I, and there was a magazine (Circus? Hit Parader? Metal Edge?)...and it compared everything VH vs DLR and gave one or the other the win. One of them was Lyrics , where the reviewer gave the win to DLR, (h

Saw them in a bar in Edmonton just as the album came out, but before it got real traction. (Before they released More than words can say as a single if I remember correctly) It was very cool to see them in a small venue, the show was great.

Thanks for that, really interesting. I have been a fan of Triumph / Rik for a long time. Especially the albums Allied Forces/ Sport of Kings. Interesting enough, this next interview came up in my feed with Rik in 1987, I think just after Surveillance came out and he was promoting it here in Canada. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QPnGXpl1fys A great acoustic version of "Let the light&

That's so funny, after seeing the call between Blades and Nugent, I was like hmmmm...I better go listen to Don't tred I have always liked that album, even more than the debut. Never had the chance to see them Live, but thankful for that concert video. It got played a lot.

Totally agree. However I need to revisit DLU...no NR album has ever dropped off the radar so quickly for me. They are a top 5 band, and yet I hardly remember that album.

Very cool news...always enjoyed ABBA and most of their songs. I always thought Danny Vaughn could do a killer version of "When all is said and done"

Great topic. Harem Scarem and 7th Heaven. A couple small examples: I use a haremscarem email address, and everytime I give it out, it always begins a discussion about the band in some capacity. At any function, party, get together, friends over for dinner etc (pre Covid obviously) I always make a point to play 7th Heaven on the playlist, and their Medleys always always make someone

Agreed. I liked 87 HIGA as part of a great album. But when I bought WS Greatest Hits and heard the 88 USA remix version for the first time... I loved the song and that version.

....what is yours? Where you discovered that CD/record/tape still playing thru the last song...and then that untitled hidden track caught your ears? It could be in any music genre. I think the earliest for me may I can remember may be at the end of Jagged Little Pill...I think it was called Your House(?) I wonder what is the earliest in from the melodic rock world? Wait!!! Isn't there

Love Monsters....that is a great album!! I also really liked a lot from Dreamland / Lemon tounge ...What I Know/ Even Now / Like I do/Gone/ into me into you all stand up very well to their first 4 albums. I will say their newer stuff since 2008 hasn't grabbed me quite as much, but they are still a great band live.
