Indeed, so great to hear them back and rocking. I don’t think it was really Chris’s doing that they went the way they did though. KAYAKER and I were talking about him a few days ago and he shared this quote with me from Chris. In September 2019, Daughtry and RCA, their record label since 2006, decided to split ways. The split was due to contract fulfillment, wanting to part ways. On the s

I am not a big fan but St. Anger is shit in my opinion and Lulu just cemented it for me that they were gone. But prior to St. Anger they definitely had some incredible stuff thrown in their catalogue.

I hated grunge with a passion when it hit the scene. I have since come to enjoy a VERY small portion of it, mostly just a song here and there, but Nirvana has never been one I liked at all.

Country is a genre I have grown to enjoy more as I have aged, though I still wouldn’t call myself a big fan of it. What I do like, and have always liked, about it is the storytelling aspect of the lyrics. But I really wouldn’t classify most of mainstream country these days as even really being country. Take the twang out and you basically have pop rock and rock.

Red Dawn. Shadow King. Bad City. Heavy Bones. Witness. Contraband. Signal. Big Bad Wolf. Saints & Sinners. Cold Sweat. Covered Call (I know they released a second album but I would have liked another with Vikstrom). Plenty more I am sure, those are just the ones that jumped out at me.

Did he not pose for the same picture on one of the anniversaries of the album? In the pool as an adult but this time with underwear on.

To be fair to Ken I guess I am referring more to his personality and quirks. Douche probably was not the right phrasing. The few times I have spoken to him he has been nice but comes across as a bit of an egotist. And as Troy pointed out, a bit odd how the only videos he posts of students seem to be of young attractive females. All that aside though I am not questioning his abilities or knowledge

My youngest is very interested in pursuing a singing career and is actually quite good. I was wondering if Tamplin’s vocal course was worth the money. I know the man himself is a bit of a douche but curious if anyone is familiar with the course itself.

I haven’t seen Stephen’s post on it, if he made a post about it, but Dee Snider posted that Pearcy revealed he has liver cancer and has been battling it for three years now. Best of luck to Pearcy, hope he can beat it.

Alice Cooper opening for Motley Crue on their farewell tour. Coop out sang and out performed the Crue by a long shot. Kickin’ Valentina opened for Danger Danger several years back and did a hell of a job. There was a delay with D2 coming on stage and the guys had to wing several songs and did a fantastic job. Others are Firehouse. Ratt. Cinderella.

A particular show I would have love to have seen was Bon Jovi at Rotterdam in 1989. Based on the clips I have seen, particularly Living In Sin, they were on fire that night and Jon was at the top of his vocal form. Just bands period, there are many. Most anyone in the modern melodic rock scene, Eclipse, H.E.A.T., Dynazty etc. Two I never got a chance to see that I would have love to have seen

I think it is a bit of both. For me, and probably most of us, the old stuff came along during my formative years and are often tied to very special memories and times of my life so there is certainly a very heavy dose of nostalgia there when I hear them and it also makes them even more special because of that. For me I think that no matter how good any of the new music may be I will never think i

I think the whole CoExist album is quite good. It doesn’t really stay in one lane musically and it makes for a fun listen. And of course Jakob’s voice is just superb.

The full album is not too shabby. I bought it years ago at a discount store and have it on vinyl somewhere. I went through several years ago and transferred my vinyl that never made it to CD onto to CD. I need to pull that one out again.

Love his music so much and the man still sounds incredible, but I have lost all respect for him and stopped following him on social media due to his constant political posts. I don’t care which side of things you stand on, and I don’t even disagree with him on some stuff, but he is so mean and hateful and crude on there that I stopped following him.

I like it. Pretty much what I expect from them. Typical Eclipse sound and something we have heard over and over from Erik but as the Preacher said, a feel good song.

I agree. A VERY tough song to cover and I have heard many over the years. No one comes close to Mili’s vocal but as a whole I thought he did a pretty darn good job of it here.

I realize I am in the minority but the downfall of the Slash record is Myles’ voice, I have never been able to warm to his vocals on anything for some reason.
