I did not know they were even still around. Quite a different sound from Fear Not debut and Love Life’s Goodbye Lady Jane records.

Here in NC, It is illegal to use elephants to plow cotton fields (not sure why this one ever got on the books as elephants are not exactly an indigenous species here in our State). It illegal for unmarried couples to have sex in hotel rooms (pretty sure that one never gets broken). It is illegal to drive on the sidewalks. By law you have to pay taxes on your illegal drug sales.

Every single day. During the work week I would say I average at least 8 hours of music a day as I keep an ear bud in or a speaker on constantly. Music is always playing at my house as well.

Right at 20,000 CDs. About 200 Vinyl. Maybe 100 leftover Cassette tapes in a box somewhere. 6,000 DVDs about 150 of which are music video/concert shows.

I saw an interview he did about two years ago where he made an off handed comment that he can’t hear shit while on stage. Not sure if it was a general comment about how it is being on stage in front of a stadium full of people with a band behind you or if it was an indication that he has some issues in that department as he did not elaborate.

I have had the privilege of meeting Jeff a few times over the years and he is the real deal. He is very aware and upfront about his gift and abilities without ever seeming to let an ego seep into the equation. Very down to Earth and kind and has always taken the time to indulge this particular fans inquiries. In short, the kind of rock star you love to meet and afterwards you are left an even big

I am certainly no expert on it but having done both it is my opinion that there is no “secret. You either have it or you don’t. Sure, like with anything, you learn and get better the more you write and practice at it, but if you can write lyrics without much issue and then struggle with the music then perhaps the music part isn’t for you. I would say stick with your strength. Work on it and

I am no big fan by any stretch of the imagination but if you take away the ridiculous costumes and get past that voice then they actually have some very catchy songs strewn about their discography.

I don’t know what happened of course and bands change members all of the time obviously, but based on my interactions with him and some things I have heard, Mr. Lordi is not the easiest to work with.

Fantastic guitarist and showman. I have seen him several times over the years and it has always been a great show. Not too keen on his recent output though.

There is potential here save the fact that ADV is in on the writing. James is a great singer and the band is definitely a talented group of chaps. The song isn’t bad but it is also not great.

He has always been greedy (in his own words, “the only thing I like more than my wife is my money” from an interview he did with Movieline in 1998) I could see him continuing on for that reason as people are obviously still buying tickets. But it would not surprise me, unless whatever is going on with him is reversible, that he calls it quits next year on their 40th anniversary with the relea

Something happened with his voice (more than whatever is already going on) during Have A Nice Day and it was only the final song, which was the next one after HAND, that he used a tape on.

I have seen Journey many times live with all vocalists since Perry came in and have always been impressed with their live show. Sadly I have never had the opportunity to see Toto live but I would love to. Glad it was a great show!

Tommy has a huge voice and I like a lot of his stuff but this was not one of my favorites from him. I am a big fan of the original and a big fan of Disturbed’s cover of it and for me he just kind of fell somewhere in between. He doesn’t have the the peaceful, harmonious sound of the original but he also doesn’t have the grit in his voice to pull off the Draiman version.

I pulled out my copy of Jack Ponti Presents Vol. 1 over the weekend. Production is a bit lacking but there are some really good songs on it and of course he has written/co-written some really good ones in his career. Whatever happened to him, did he retire?

Frontiers has been losing more and more credibility with me for a while now with almost every release. Far too much output these days. The focus has turned from trying to find and release good music to simply spitting out anything and everything with the majority being mediocre to crap. I love Ale and hold no ill will towards him at all, he is a very very nice guy and a very talented guy and just

I don’t hate him at all and have enjoyed every album he has put out on some level or another. It saddens me to see him in this state personally. It has been a few years since I last saw him live and I will grant you that this is a live, fan shot video so I can forgive a bit for that, but if this is at all representative of how he is sounding then there comes a time where you just have to face f
