Met my expectations. Best album since The Roaring of Dreams. "Sleeping with a Memory", "Good Thing Gone", "Flagship", "Boom Town", "You're Not a Prisoner" and "Now" already won me over, needing to make room on POL top songs list after this. The itunes preview of "Now" was so unlike the actual song, lol, perfect album ending.

Steve Augeri was also there some years ago. It is(was? I don't watch it) a daily tv show, not focused on rock/metal but features it more than any open tv channel nowadays. Audience score for that channel is usually near zero.

Sounds like it's gonna be their strongest since The Roaring of Dreams. What kind of tune is "Rock n Roll Boom Town"?

Nice tune, but tbh I prefer POL doing theatrical stuff like "A Gift of Song", "Back to Camelot", "Turnaround" rather than mimic Survivor. TH posted "Good Thing Gone" and "Lion Heart" on his FB page, but they seem to be gone. The first is a rocker like "Carry Me Back", I'm not very sure what would become of the other, maybe an opener l

It's Live in Indianapolis 31/12/1984, but with worse sound. The regular bootleg was posted here: https://www.guitars101.com/forums/f90/survivor-members-megapost-727843.html

Seems to be a different take of the 31/12/1984 show. Need to play them alongside to check.

RYM has been my main way of discovering music since Andrew slowed down posting reviews on MR. Average ratings are relatively reliable, AOR charts has almost every great album on the first page. No trouble with other users so far.

I thought I was the only who liked that song. JP could save it for a World Stage meets Deep Cuts/Battlezone.

I really like "Too Far to Turn Around". First half of the album was somewhat enjoyable, but most of the songs just aren't my stuff. IOM discography is hit and miss, Midnight Oil and Common Bond are mostly avoidable. Their 2014 compilation is must have for JP fans. World Woven deserves to be reissued by Rock Candy, oddly some songs were skipped in Last Band Standing.

If you have a spare $100, get an external USB drive. It's worth it, I backup everything once a month, so as to prevent any loss if HD suddenly breaks or a virus deletes/encript all files. But if you got half disk worth of free space, you can partition your HD and move the files to d:.

First two and last two songs are pretty good. I dislike the sound of the whole album, actually, I like the way ELO's debut sounds more than this.

Everything between Phenomenon and The Wild, then Walk on Water and The Visitor. The Sign of 4 album beats half of their discography. Covenant is ok too.

A-side of the debut, everything between On the Third Day and A New World Record, a few songs from Out of the Blue, then everything from "Time", b-sides included. Eldorado and Time are 100% albums for me.

I like the album overall for it's being diverse. But it's not 100% good songs like Scarecrow, there are a few I'm starting to skip already. My faves are Thunder in the Night, Silver and Gold, Narnia and Tragic Alter Ego.

The three songs I liked the most were all written by Newman. Surprising indeed as I never enjoyed much his own albums.
