As a matter of fact, I live about 20 kilometers from the stadium where the game was played today. Tickets were sold out so fast you had to be really, really lucky to get one. Football has definitely multiplied its popularity here over the last few years, our free TV now broadcasts two games a week live (which means it's late at night here). I'm not the biggest fan of the sport, but I watch the ga

As of now, the new Pride of Lions is by far my most anticipated release for next year. Their most recent one (Lion Heart, 2020) was fantastic, maybe even their best yet, so here's high hopes.

Unlike most other people, I view their debut as being (almost) as good as Native Sons and Walk in the Fire. All three excellent albums. I would definitely recommend the box set titled Complete Records Vol. 1. It contains those three records as well as the fourth one (which you don't need, trust me) for a great price. I also have a soft spot for their 2010 Perfect World album, but you might want t

Well deserved, although I don't really care much for those inductions... too many strange decisions over the years

I agree with most people that it's too long, but drop the fillers, include "Starting All Over Again", and you have a really strong album.

I've tried this again and again and not really come up with a totally satisfying solution. I could easily make a compilation out of these two, but a real album that flows nicely... that's challenging. One problem is that some of the best tracks on UYI are long, epic songs, but you can't have too many of them on a regular album. That being said, this tracklist works nicely for me: 01 Right

Peterik can do almost no wrong for me. This song is nothing special for his standards, but lightyears ahead of what many other acts are putting out. Although, I had hoped for Toby, Marc and Jim sharing the lead vocals rather than the latter two only providing background vocals.

This actually seems to be a pretty decent record, something that I wasn't expecting from him anymore. I saw him on his acoustic tour a little over a week ago. He was fantastic.

Absolutely agree about him being a fantastic singer. Recent live footage like that Europe cover has me a bit worried though. His would definitely not be the first amazing voice that is ruined by having to sing those immensely difficult Journey songs night after night.

I'm torn on this one. On the one hand, it is a fun record that has me clap and sing along from the beginning to the end. The band sounds great and Kenny shines. I totally look forward to hearing them play these songs live - expecting a fantastic atmosphere. On the other hand, the album totally lacks variation and interesting ideas, which their earlier records all had. Overall, I think the edgi

I generally don't care that much for the direction he went in - that pop sound a la Ed Sheeran - but this is really good. Looking forward to seeing him on his acoustic tour in about a month.

I wish them the best of luck (winning in one's own stadium is always something special), but I'll still support the challenger team as they're from my country! Let's hope for a good and entertaining match.

If I understood Jim Peterik correctly, the title track is an Eye of the Tiger outtake. Wonder how different this version is from what he oroginally had in mind for the song...

I care for about a third of the album, which is only a little bit smaller of a proportion than in case of the Use Your Illusions. Here, it's mostly the slower songs that I like, the extra edge on the other tracks wasn't necessary for me. My highlights are Better, Street of Dreams, If the World, Catcher in the Rye, and This I Love.
