The Firm. I might be the only person I know who liked these 2 albums! But maybe I need to go back and revisit Coverdale-Page.

A disappointment, although I think it has somewhat more merit than you do, Carl. But it's not something I will return to with any regularity.

I'd be a lot more positive than just OK. Looking forward to this one.

I'm guessing he didn't roll out much from Everybody's Crazy!!! To this day, he remains the greatest loss to our genre.

Big fan of both. Got both new albums - really like 3CD, need to spend more time with the Mostly Autumn...

I'm not normally big on the Ohio State Marching Band, but I certainly enjoyed this! https://twitter.com/TBDBITL/status/1446930350807019520?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1446934024753123331%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es3_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.blabbermouth.net%2Fnews%2Frush-members-are-left-speechless-by-ohio-state-marching-band-tribute%2F

My recollection is similar to TK, that there wasn't a lot of love for it when it first came out, but I thought it was class then and I still do now. Possibly my favourite melodic rock album of last year.

Any advice on how to solve this problem much appreciated. My iTunes library has passed 65,000 songs, and the trusty iPod can’t cope. I have a modified iPod with 1TB of space - that’s not the problem. However, apparently the iPod RAM mets-data (or something) can’t deal with this many songs, so it irretrievably crashes. I am in the ridiculous situation of having 2 iPods, one for artists

It's wonderfully mindless old school HM. I'm really enjoying it... but I suspect I won't come back to it all that often in years to come once the novelty wears off.

I agree that when it comes to Premier League refereeing decisions, it's more about incompetence and fallibility rather than corruption. WHich is not the same when it comes to the top administration of the game (UEFA/FIFA). But if you're looking forward to the cricket season, I'm not sure it can be held up as a bastion of incorruptibility...

I received the physical copy yesterday. Dull dull dull. The best thing about it is the cover art. The Ice Bridge is EASILY the best song. The rest just sent me to sleep. If only ARW could have kept it together, perhaps we would have gotten something more interesting than this snoozefest.

Love Devotion. Great album. Just edges out Now Is Then, Then Is Now as his best. In Stereo would be wayyy down my list of Spiro favourites.

Ho hum. Disappointing. I doubt that I'll bother, I'm really not a fan of covers albums. https://www.blabbermouth.net/news/deep-purple-to-release-covers-album-turning-to-crime-in-november-track-listing-artwork-revealed/

Maybe I'm in a minority, but I really like it. Love the energy - reminds me of the Like A Suicide EP. Prefer this very much over the previous single.

Really like it. And I like the fact that it's really different to the first single The Alien. That variety is a key to the best DT albums. Hopefully this one will continue their post-Astonishing renaissance.

Two separate eras - almost like 2 different bands. The Fish era is the first 4 albums - they're all brilliant but if I had to pick one it would be Clutching At Straws, followed by Misplaced Childhood. The H era is all the rest, 13 studio albums. Inevitably over that number of albums, not all are brilliant but most are of an extremely high standard. Pick of the bunch for me would be Marble
