The Sea of Tranquility folks were talking about this on youtube and I believe Queensryche did 55mins, which is very good for an opening act. Their set also seems to consist entirely of older material from the 80s.

I'd totally agree regarding The Adventures. Go West were/are great and the late Alan Murphy was a fantastic guitarist who unfortunately passed away at just 35. I'd also add River City People especially their debut album.

Now that RAD has been released on Blu-ray you'd think a CD issue might be a possibility. There have been dodgy unofficial reissues of the soundtrack in the past so there might be some demand.

Paul Sabu produced the 'Fairgrounds' album and the 'Walk On Fire' single on the debut. The albums were remastered and reissued as a two-disc set by GOTT Discs a UK label in 2005 which is probably quite hard to find.

I'd highly recommend the Colin Hay film 'Waiting For My Real Life'. A top quality music documentary that is funny and sad in equal measure. It's available to stream for free if you've Amazon Prime in the UK.

This brings back good memories. Back when Eye of the Tiger was in the charts I was flipping through the £1 bin of my local record shop and found the debut. I didn't know anything about Survivor at the time and discovering bands was so different in those pre-internet days. Even the guy behind the counter had no idea it was the same band. As it turned out I loved it then and I still love it now

I've just had a CD take 11 days to get from Illinois to Michigan after sitting in Chicago for 7 days according to the tracking... Winter, Christmas and Covid is a pretty tough combination for postal carriers to deal with I guess.

I’m game as this brings back a load of great memories. Journey: Three shows in the USA, two with with Augeri in Syracuse (2004) and Virginia Beach (2005) + Orlando with JSS (2006). Hard to believe for many years you had to see Journey in the USA until they belatedly rediscovered the UK then Edinburgh (Augeri) and twice in London (JSS / Pineda). The situation at the moment is obviously terrible for bands and venues. The thing is I still go to, or at least did, quite a few gigs every year. For me, it's all about the atmosphere, the sound, meeting up with like-minded people and having a few beers etc. Spacing folks out is all very well, and obviously I understand the reasoning, but I'm not sure you'd keep the feel and atmosphere. Pretty sure these versions of the Ratt songs were used in the Mickey Roarke film The Wrestler? Mickey Ratt/Ratt/Rat Attack Probably saved the film company a few quid to license them rather than Ratt originals.
