Thank you all for reassuring this poor befuddled soul. We can only presume the next retro formats will be either mini disc (what a bonus to mankind they turned out to be), laser disk, and Betamax tapes - once we have reintroduced the ubiquitous 8 track tapes of course - who could resist such incredible audio quality, amazing packaging and user friendly nature... You are all magnificent - ma

EXACTLY young sir... Back in ye olde days, one purchased the old vinyl slab, (and in my case, an anti-static sleeve to house the new vinyl in) then you went home to the hifi, played it once through whilst taping it, and then the tape was the disposable format - complete with having to have a handy pencil to spool it back in when it came out, and a library album of sound effects to compare the

I understand a million and elevnty thousand of you all still want vinyl. I don't, but I get it. Can somebody PLEASE explain to me why cassette tapes are coming back? And I mean to the point where for 'Record Store Day' for example, Motley Crue are releasing a cassette only box set. I don't want to start another 'is it just me' thing, only to be told yes it is only me that doesn't want t

So many thanks for this one Andrew I have had assorted 'volumes' on debatable quality bootlegs forever nowadays, it's amazingly to be finally looking forward a quality relase of some if not all of these. Kudo's to you mate - that's stellar news

Good Morning all, Myself and Team 3 here would like to thank all of you who passed on thanks, blessings and prayers - you might be surprised how much it means to us to know you are all sparing a moment to think of us. I would like to add one more thing in the mix over the 'hardest hit' thing. Please remember that the damned virus is INDIRECTLY causing many different kinds of fatality, and

Yes, we absolutely do Sir. According the least unreliable of the trials, Patients in the ivermectin test, even though it was a relatively tiny test, reported fewer "patient-days" of ANY symptoms than those in the placebo group. If you then add in the anosmia/hyposmia, the ones given ivermectin had 50% less anosmia/hyposmia than those in the placebo group - along with a whopping 3

Spot on Simon indeed. Applause from here is deafening. And where is here? I work front line against this thing. I would love the nay-sayers, conspiracy theorists, folk who call it "Kung Flu" and all the other cockwombles who won't mask up, lean across you in the shops, and dish out the BS rhetoric to come and give us a hand. They could help like the one engineer did yesterda

And all of Danny's post above, is what often times ends up being wrong with music released by boutique record labels. They "save money" by having, say for example, the person who owns the label (!) doing the mastering - which basically means they rent a mastering studio for a day and sit there themselves twiddling knobs and pushing sliders when the harsh reality is they don't actuall

Being a Danny Vaughn completist, anorak, and archivist nutter, I have the old and new versions of this and am delighted to report that the remastering is cool and uninvasive, and the two new tracks are totally sublime.

Got the EP last year, and the remasters, but as I don't do FB I'm not sure as to their current status. Thought they were amazing supporting Angel, and was hoping to see them again quickly, but along came 'Rona and put paid to that. I expected a new album or whatever but nothing...anyone close to them or got any news / updates please?

Absolutely spot on there mate. I remember the Shy session that came along before "Brave the storm" - it was far more dynamic than what appeared on the album and "My Apollo" in particular was half as fast again and a lot more frenetic. I would LOVE to be able to hear some of those sessions again, but alas, because we all taped them on crummy old cassette tapes and / or had copi

well...Thomas The Vance, the music vendor, welcoming you to...eh? FRS was the only acceptable use for a C120 cassette tape back in the day. First hour record then change over during the news, then if you did fall asleep, side 2 was nicely recording and could be lovingly relived the day after. Like so many of you, I can't begin to list the bands he got me into, and the crazy pronunciations t

Don't take it personally, it happens on Fleabay all the time, as I'm sure you know - advise him to have a little patience and chill - send him to read the apology on the Royal

Andrew, would there be any chance of you curating a quantity of the Judith Randall demo's that Mark Free sang on some years ago? There were several volumes of bootlegs, some of which were of excellent quality, even for boots...but with your connections, clout and knowledge you could presumably manage at least a 'best selection' if not a decent sized box set...

Considering so much has been said about how much booze and marching powder was going on at the time - this box set underlines the levels of musicianship between them - superb. Imagine how good they would have been if they were straight and sober...or not...lol

My suggestion, as the ultimate fan boy (lol) would be that your good self Andrew, joins forces with DCD for the super deluxe edition of White Sister "Fashion By Passion" It would ensure it would sound as immense as it was meant to sound, and would be curated with maximum understanding and quality and love imaginable and would never lead to any of the low grade, semi-bootleg type releas
