The original of 'Driven by You' is a drum machine, not Cozy (although a version featuring him and Neil Murray is on the bonus disc). He only plays on five tracks on the album. But what he does play on is typical Cozy brilliance.

No, not at all. I was just highlighting the fact that it's easy to find a source that backs up any argument if you need it to. You believe what you want to believe, you usually do.

Looking at some of those playlists, it's just people lumping a load of bands from a similar time period into a pot and calling it 'New Wave'. Big Country, for instance, are not New Wave. As providing links seems to be the only way you back your argument up, here's a link listing 'New Wave' bands (loads of them aren't by the way). Interestingly though, The Tubes don't get a mention... https://e

Actually the photographer himself states 'Ultimately, you will find here my entire collection of concert and candid photos of popular and not so popular "rock", "new wave", "punk" and "post-punk" groups from the 70s, 80s, 00s and 10s' He doesn't define The Tubes as New Wave, in the same way he doesn't call Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Fleetwood Mac etc. New Wav

Randy was initially replaced by Bernie Torme, whose first show was a couple of weeks after Randy's death. I know from talking to Bernie (I was his drummer up until his death 2019) that the whole Ozzy situation was, understandably very difficult for everyone. Ozzy was a mess, Rudy didn't want to play... Bernie was always just 'filling in' while they looked at someone more permanent. Bernie did

It's Dee, he says a lot of things : ) He recently said 'I could see us doing a charity — a couple of songs for charity, for the right reasons.' and also from the same interview he said he was '100% committed to not reuniting Twisted Sister'. Jay Jay runs 'the brand' and according to Snider if he's had any offers (and Snider is sure there have been some) then Jay Jay hasn't shown them to

Quite likely, plus each of the two support bands on the bill are worth a good amount tickets each night. Both Foreigner and Europe are worth at least three thousand tickets on their own headline shows.

It's there to run the click, any backing tracks and (in a lot of cases) the intro is run from the laptop (usually started by the drum tech). As mentioned loads of bands play to click (certainly the bulk of the ones I work for do). Running to click is also a massive aid for the lighting designer who can programme the light show far more effectively.

Agree Honeycrack were definitely Dowling's best project, fantastic live band too. Never liked The Grip either. Although The Wildhearts are by far the better band in the grand scheme of things.

Whilst Stone Sour are on hiatus, Josh Rand has enlisted Paralandra vocalist Casandra Carson to join him on the upcoming EP. It's pretty decent stuff, Casandra is a fine singer and she does a great job here.(the Lzzy Hale comparisons are inevitable of course) The Nothingness - https://youtu.be/WaToYxLfZfM Purgatory - https://youtu.be/MUMfpxTM3J8 Ignite - https://youtu.be/-g1IpG7iTXo

He's on this 'Dear Mr. Fantasy: A Celebration for Jim Capaldi' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xH4TxIbdNPA (as MD/musician and backing vocals) but aside from that one album, he doesn't seem to have done much of his own. But I guess he's kept himself busy with a 40 year stint with Billy Joel, plus playing with Ringo, Foreigner, Hall & Oates, etc.

According to the VH tour statistics they did indeed play 'Dreams' on the '5150' tour, 78 times apparently (adding it about a third into the tour) but dropped it after that run, bringing it back in '93, '95, '98 (with Cherone singing it), and '04 tours... The 'Live Without a Net' DVD was filmed in Newhaven (2nd night), they played 'Dreams' both nights (between Alex's solo and '5150') but it nev

Didn't their court papers suggest that because of the contract he signed they had the rights to anything he produces? If so, he can't really put anything out without their permission, hence the copyright claim they've blocked the video with.

It was certainly being filmed across both stages, so Sky Arts is a possibility. It was a very successful weekend. I worked there on the Saturday (with Stone Broken) and it was extremely well run and thought out festival. The whole testing system was thorough and well-planned. Lot of great performances (especially Scottish band Vukovi). Was amazing to be in a field listening to loud live bands a
