I caught them on their Farewell Tour in St. Louis in '87 w/Gary West on vocals. I have probably seen them five or six other times throughout the years with some of their other vocalists. They are still playing from time to time and have a date in March with the band Missouri in Kansas City. Forum: Noticeboard
Thinking of seeing Trans Siberian Orchestra in December. Is it worth the $39.00 Groupon price?
I’m also planning on seeing the Bat Out Of Hell musical in Vegas next month. Has anybody seen it? I wonder how cheesy it is? Forum: Noticeboard
I consider myself to be a casual fan of Rush at best. However, I do like songs such as Time Stands Still and The Pass which I consider more melodic and less prog. Any other suggestions? Forum: Noticeboard
Saw him on the Bat II tour at a sold out amphitheater in St. Louis. What an improbable comeback. He had played a local club the last time he was in town. A great performer and such a fantastic show! Forum: Noticeboard
Google "KSHE Classics" to see some great lists. KSHE is a radio station out of St. Louis that has a Classics show on Sunday mornings that feature obscure rock songs that received some airplay. Forum: Noticeboard
I saw Journey live in Vegas on December 18. They played with a symphony orchestra and it was filmed. Arnel sounded great. During Who's Crying Now, his mic cut out for almost half the song. Guess they will have to edit that out Forum: Noticeboard
