Just listened to it and it's surely classic Wig Wam sounding. Doesn't break any new ground, but very enjoyable.

Is it wrong that I find the whole drama fascinating? I can't wait for the ending of the movie to find out who was lying! :)

One of my favorite new bands. First album had a cool mix of hard rock and melodic metal, all with a great vocalist.

Having grown up in Maine, I never thought I'd see the day when a band from that tiny (population wise) state would be track 1 on a MRC release. It truly is a small world. For those who've never heard of Oak, check out this other song that I believe was their biggest hit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vLasZIIf0M

I'm on my first play through at the moment, but just wanted to share that Rolling Back may be my favorite track from these guys ever. Just an amazing song that will be on repeat after I get through the whole album.

Just a monster of an album. I made a thread a couple of years ago about how this is the album I use to test new audio equipment/headphones/etc as it just sounds so sonically perfect to my ears.

Given the opening part of your comment DCD, I think a "clean" break via being the front man for an established act may be the preferred path. Regardless of what direction you choose, best wishes for your next adventure as an artist.

I usually just order these releases without hearing more than the samples, but this box has given me pause because of the diversity of the artists written for. Will this box set ever be available on Streaming sites so I can check out the full range? (question for Andrew) Thanks!

I put Pull right up there with Welcome to the Real World. Very different sounds/songs, but Pull is just awesome. I actually purchased the re-released version of Pull with a few extra songs as well.

Really enjoyed it and so happy to see the guys have mended all fences. I thought I was a Triumph fan until I saw some of their superfans!

Just randomly decided to listen to Twisted Sister's Love Is For Suckers album while having breakfast this morning. Even though it's been probably 20 years since I listened to it all the way through, I still dig it and marvel at how different it is from Under the Blade just five years earlier. I understand it was supposed to be a Dee Snider solo album if I recall correctly.

I like that better than the other song as well, which is still a good song. In watching the video, this was the first time I realized how "seasoned" these guys all are (like me!). Their website doesn't list previous bands etc - this can't be the first band for them at their age right?

These guys are one of my favorite newer bands. I'm intrigued by your comment Richard - what does he do that Steve Overland does? Is it his phrasing when singing or something else entirely?

Is it wrong that I love both their early stuff that was more Melodic Rock AND their last half dozen albums that are Melodic Metal? These guys are just amazing.

The early Kenny albums were my least favorite and so retaining the harder edge sound of the more recent ones with his vocals works better than I had imagined. Just a great band...

It grew on me as it went along. I hope it's an album track and not the best song on the album.

That is a great song and should be a big hit for them.

The term genius is probably overused, but when it comes to musical ability, Kip Winger is surely one. Between the Winger stuff, his solo work and classical compositions, he has proven his chops. Great musicians in the band as well. I really think they are alone in the quality of their output in the later years vs. other bands from that time.

I was the same age as the OP when this album came out and it was a no-skip album for me, loved it all. Also, saw them on that tour with Iron Maiden opening and it remains a top 5 show for me all-time. It was the first (and last) time I was up against the barrier at the front and my ears hurt for a couple of days afterward - totally worth it!

I enjoyed that and have gotten used to the multi-vocalist thing. GOK seems to have pretty high quality songwriting overall.

I liked Spirit of the Moonrise a lot more, but it's fine for an album track. Interesting that the co-writer credit is Don Felder.
