Well I think it's great actually. But then again I'm pretty much a Reece fanboy. Can't wait to hear the complete album

Thanks for all your replies! Very nice and helpful. We're leaving in 4 days and will be staying in NYC for 8 days and have a hotel in Hell's Kitchen. Great to see that there is an all ages show. I'll check if there's an easy way to travel back and forth. Again, many many thanks!

In a few days my two sons and I are going to America for the first time. New York, to be precise. During our stay Spread Eagle is playing there. I'm a big fan and never saw them before, so I am thrilled to go. However, it is listed as a 21+ ONLY show. My two sons are 16 and 18, so that will be a problem. Where I live, the Netherlands, those rules are non-existent, so I'm wondering why this is.

I like almost all of the mentioned bands. Years ago it was an easy choice: Dream Theater. But lately I consider them the AC/DC of Prog. Threshold do still progress, so that's my pick.

I guess my first shirt, bought at a gig, was from Giant's Time to Burn tour. I can still wear it, but have it stored somewhere in the attic. Maybe I'll wear it this summer :)

To me, he's doing great. The best replacement for Bach I can imagine. Also it's very clear to me that Bach in his prime was untouchable...

Navarone. Pretty huge in the Netherlands, virtually unknown everywhere else. Navarone - Wander (Live)

I love buying from Bandcamp! When buying an album (vinyl or cd) I also instantly get the album in the Bandcamp app and a digital download of the album (flac or mp3). And I believe the artist makes more money here than on other platforms.

I genuinely love it! To my surprise I hear a lot of the old Giant in there. The beginning of Highway of Love, for example, sounds pretty familiar ;) Furthermore, to me, Kent's voice comes a bit closer to Dann's voice than Terry's. Next step: Play Live!!!

I'll take any excuse to have a band play all the (old) classic Giant tracks live. And if it also hands me a more than decent aor/melodic rock record, I'm a happy camper ;) In short, I'm the same in this as Dann Huff: I give them my blessing for carrying on as Giant. Can't wait to receive my copy

Waltari of course! ;) If I could only bring one album with me on a desert island, it would an album by Waltari. They mix pop, rock, prog, euro-house (yes) and grindcore (yes) among others to one addictive cocktail called Waltari. For those who are new to the band: Big Bang, Blood Sample, Below Zero, Release Date and their last one, Global Rock are nice albums to start with.
