Aggreed big time. I also think that in most cases I prefer the first album I bought from a band over the others. Even when other albums are rated higher by most. Also agreeing about the seasons, not only for albums, also for bands. To me, Soen IS autumn.

Confused by Gypsy Kyss has touched me more than any other song ever. Those lyrics are very special to me... QuoteConfused together As one is by the other When two can't come together Press my face against the glass I wonder how long this one will last We struggle through and struggle on I feel so weak when I was so strong And I'm confused As you're confused With us Hold it in or let

Adrian is great on this. Lazy? I don't think so, I think it's a case of "less is more", real classy to me.

A couple of years ago someone here mentioned Pat as the rumored new Whitesnake guitarplayer. In the following months Pat was mentioned in many topics. It became a running gag. Here it is probably not funny now that I explained it ;)

The coolest thing I ever saw was on the album Dance Macabre from the band Memento Mori. That album has songs BETWEEN the tracks. So if, for example, track 1 is finished, the display stays on track 1 and starts counting down the time of the hidden song! This happens a couple of times on the album. Very cool! :) Edit: typos

I'd like to add two to this impressive list: Lenny Wolf (Kingdom Come): Writing, producing, singing and playing guitar, bass en keys. Too bad he slipped into retirement. Dan Swanö (Nightingale, Witherscape): Next to his numerous extreme bands and his work as a producer on countless albums, he made very strong Prog albums with Nightingale and Witherscape. He plays drums, guitar, bass and ke

I'm sorry, I was referring to the EP. Still, their early work was much more varied.

I wasn't much of a fan of the new version of Burning Heart, but this is VERY impressive: Vandenberg - Shadows of the Night

Sounds really good, but it's again very midtempo/ballad-like. It was the same with their EP which was therefore pretty boring to me. I am hoping for another "under a mourning star", "roll the fire" or "a million gods".

I sure am! Loved Resilient Heart, but Universal Language is still my favourite. So I'm very happy Andy Susemihl is back. Ordered the album just yet.
