Dont have LP version but I read in a review where it was mentioned, that "song Aint no fun would be top of MTV in 1987". Also the bonus track on CD is often mentione as the best one.

Very good one, I only liked Vega since Grit your teeth. This one has maybe a bit different, less clear and hard rock production and I was even a bit dissapointed after first listen. But there are just many great songs on the album so just give it enough time. Once the last song ends you just need to go back to song one . Hard to name all the favorites: End Of The Fade Ain’t Who I Am Welc

maybe not the best forum to discuss about ABBA music, although it is called MELODICrock , and while ABBA had very little rock they definitely had a lot of MELODDY. I am very happy with both songs, very classy done, they dont hide with technology that the voices are over 70 years old, but they still sound very good. And in the chorus of Dont shut me dow we get some magical harmonies of voices th

I always liked Jeffs voice. I know Shock album is not very popular but under producer Phil Collen Jeffs voice sounded better than on last few albums. At this stage of his career I think ballads and lighter song suit him better.

no Collen in sight on this one, recorded in Frank Hannon home studio. He said they will no longer make album recording sessions, just concentrate on writing individual great songs and when there will be enough of them release full album

Our small country Slovenia alway gets few medals and we are often in top 5 in the list of countris with most medals per capita. This year we have some very well known world sportsman with Roglič, Pogačar in Cycling, Dončić in basketball, and some who are stars at their sport but not so world wide recognized. But I also like to follow other sports, where I dont have rooting interest. This y

For me Slamer woth Brock, Slamer with Billy Greer were some of the best post 2000 albums of this genre. He Seems to like working with Ousey, but nothing special for me.

In the 90s biggest slovenian melodic hard rock band Shank Rock (they relased one record internationally titled Crime TIme) released their cover of that song, but with lyrics in slovenian language. And it has that weird note at end of solo too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLZejElWGjc

It was probably done before ? But I know for this case, where 2 biggest slovenian rock bands in 2016 put a show together, the stage was so wide so each band had half of it and they played 25 songs, some were their own, other were from the other band, and for finals they kind of meshed 2 songs together. https://youtu.be/7GJIdbwBigQ?t=1618

For me the best songs from Thunder were some of their beutiful ballads,. On new one they have just 1 proper ballad, many mid tempo songs, but most of them are seem quite a new style for them, with lots of backing vocals and brass sections, and also include really strong riffs, and that is great for me.

First few listens sound even better than I expected, more "thunder" and heavy riffs as usual, Probably will be a grower too, so many more listens needed.

I try to focus on music, not musician social media. Before first record Inglorious and their singer were the next big thing. Ok the voice was good, but songs were not there, also vocal seemd in the same register. I am streaming the latest one an am pleasantly surprised, there seems to be at least in some songs more melody, and singer is showing differen sides to his voice.

Before last album I was in a similar position. I checked some singles but I never liked them much. But the latest album I liked all singles, bought the CD and was in my top 10 of 2020. At least to my ears there were no produciton problems.
