Not so sure they screwed up, it was a great equaliser and a pretty good point for Everton. City are the ones who have probably screwed up...

I don't disagree with that assessment Ken, but sometimes a particular (and arguably lesser) album just resonates.....

I was on one of those old coach and ticket deals so probably had to leave Manchester at about 11 in the morning.....

I'd forgotten that I'd done that! Need to check if any of my initial 50 subsequently missed the final cut!

So I've finally gotten round to having a bash at this. The list is a bit of a mixed bag and is in no particular order, although the top 10 are probably that. I'm also fairly sure that other more worthy inclusions will come to mind once I post this message! I'm looking forward to the analysis and also investigated some of the albums and bands on other poster's list that I haven't even heard

Thanks for the prompt - some of us over 60's have a terrible memory and so, I completely forgot I was going to do this! Will pull together my 100 before Christmas. Thanks

Massive Rush fan here - great album, arguably one of their most underrated. In terms of the fact that it was released 32 years ago, when you get to "our" age the speed that time passes is frightening. It's scary to note that more time has now passed since the release of their last studio than passed between the releases of 2112 and Presto. Gulp!

Best wishes to you. Seems trivial commenting about your list after reading your post, but it's a great one. The Seeds of Love hasn't made my 100 (in progress) but I had forgotten about it and how good that album is.

Another great list - Odin Dragonfly, wow great shout! I've just started to pull together my 100 and was reluctantly having to leave out one of my favourite artists, and yours, because I couldn't find a studio album that would make my cut. However noting you have included live albums, I'll do the same, and include Stagestruck!

We have similar tastes. Love over Gold made the same 50 that I posted a couple of weeks ago and I agree, Industrial Disease is beyond weak, it's dreadful. Just shows how great the rest of the album is!

Great list, bmg! I included Duke in my recent initial top 50 (need to get the 100 done!). In including Face Value also, I wondered how you compared the versions of Behind the Lines. The drumming on the Duke version is immense.
