Loved everything upto reckless which for me was shit - Loved into the fire Saw him in 84 for the first time - he just sat on stage telling stories for almost the entire gig. Saw him in 87 and that was pretty much it for me.

In 87 a saw def lep twice on the same tour. Phil went to his knees at exactly the same point in the gig That was enough for me

Stopped going to these shows when the hits were still new songs and the guys were young enough to care The only band I go to see now every time they tour play 3 songs cosistently but also a good smattering of their latest release and the rest is deep cuts......brilliant as you almost always hear something new tour to tour

I can't imagine with petrucci can change his style back to how he used to play. The vocals will be as awful as they have become over the years and best leave the keys alone for now I have in my head the original tour and that will serve me well
