I wasn't aware of the Tyler story until about a year ago whem I watched a documentary. It stated the reason for him becoming her guardian was so he could travel over state lines with her without getting arrested. I've never been able to look at him the same way since. Gill

I saw him a few years ago doing a short acoustic set and he sounded great. Was telling lots of stories and singing a few songs etc. Definitely all live Gill

Hi I was shocked at Mick Jones's appearance too. The travelling aspect of touring won't help either. As for DC - I was expecting him to sound better considering it was the start of the tour and was expecting him to make more use of Dino. I would not have a problem with them sharing the vocals up front and not have him hiding behind the keyboards. However - I did have an issue with sound

I really like the new album. In fact, I love the last 4. However, Hole in the Sun and Seven - I think I've only played once or twice Gill

Still love the debut. One of my favourite tracks which I don't think anyone has mentioned yet is Boys will be boys. Love that along with Bang Bang, Naughty Naughty, Under the gun etc. To be honest, haven't really listened to anything after Screw It apart from Cockroach demos. Gill

Thanks for the memories. Saw him do some great solo shows but sadly never got to see Van Halen. Best frontman ever Gill

Yeah me too. Not a huge fan of his vocals or Revolution Saints. Would have been better if they had written their own songs and let Deen and Jack share the vocals Gill

I have tickets for Whitesnake in Glasgow next year. I would have bought tickets for Myles Kennedy but they don't seem to have released tickets for upstairs at the Academy. I would feel a bit better at the seated part and also I can't see a thing downstairs as I'm only 5ft 2. I'm still cautious to be honest. Gill

Johnny Van Zant is my favourite singer. Love his voice - gives me goosebumps. I love all JVZ era Skynyrd albums but God and Guns is probably the best - Still Unbroken is amazing. But I would check out Vicious Cycle and 1991. It annoys me when I see them live that they rarely play any songs from the JVZ- era albums even tough he's been in the band for 30 years. Gill

Did anyone see Journey on the NYC Homecoming show? Oh my, Arnel's voice is definitely shot. I had seen comments about it before but that was the first time I had seen/heard it. I actually felt sorry for him. Gill

Damn Yankees I don't believe they ever played in the UK and I just missed them on a trip to Florida back in the early 90s - if internet had been around then I would have checked concerts before I booked the trip lol I used to always say that I would love to see a reunion but now I'm not sure I could put up with Ted Nugent.
