This my fav album so far this year, brilliant prog metal with great guitar/keyboard interplay.I have a few of their albums and this the 2nd one with the new lineup as none of the original members are left whose names gave the band name DGM.I would recommend Frame and Different Shapes as well both are great albums.Kamelot Dude i don't really hear the similarity to Serenity (new album also great) bu

sub-standard production!!!I'M not a sound engineer/producer but have been been listening to rock/metal for over 35 years and can't believe someone has played this back after the finished product and given it the thumbs up as sounding great! This has some of the best songs since their debut 'Bombshell' but playing it after the new Accept or Dark Empire albums it sounds terrible.I know money comes i

This is out tomorrow and the only album i have of is Blood and a few good songs but most went over my head and Kevin Moore's talking style vocals not good either. My other issue with these guys is recently saw a 10 minute interview with a guy from Metal Blade and they came over as excited as a pair of flea ridden dogs!!It was really pathetic, you have a new album coming out and you would think yo

Available for £5.54 on Amazon download from today,ok this lineup has been together for a number of years now and they are never going to re-invent the wheel but they put out solid releases every couple of years and seem to know what the fans expect from them.If you are a fan of their previous albums then this is a no brainer and the title track is probably the stand out song on the cd imo.

do you need to go back?Have all the SX cd's (fanboy!!) and the self titled one is not worth getting as it's not Russell Allen and really more demo songs.Divine Wings Of Tragedy was where there started hitting their stride imo but production wise back in 1997 not up to the standard of Paradise Lost or Iconoclast and a lot more neo-classical as well.Insideout label did some remasters but to my ears

Agree with you post,EPICA are one of the few Gothic/bands that actually make a living off their music so maybe Mark (who writes most of the music) is scared to try something different as i think Design Your Universe has been their best selling album so far (could be wrong)
