Ah, OK! So it is OK to call me an asshole and back that up with false quotes of my posts? All I did is share my opinion that the production quality of these songs does not equal the standard of the "great" productions within the genre. I didn't even say, it sounded bad. In fact the opposite. And I said, that I would have probably bought this back in the mid 90s. If that makes m

I did say that this song misses a great production, Paul (and some others) said, that was not the case. Does it have a great production or not?

So, in your opinion this is an album with a production quality that matches the great ones of the genre? Production work by people like Mutt Lange, Bruce Fairbairn, Todd Rundgren, Bob Ezrin, David Prater, Martin Birch,...?

Plus Bruce Springsteen wrote all his hit songs himself, while Huey Lewis only co-wrote some of them... Jeff Porcaro's catalogue mainly consists of Africa, which is one of the most played and covered songs of all...

It didn’t sound bad, but to me it seems they came right out of their rehearsal space and recorded the song. No real production there (like so many current releases, sadly).

It sounds a little like Harem Scarem… I might have bought this back in 1995… Production is very weak.

Midge Ure wrote the lyrics. Billy Currie and Christopher Payne of Gary Numan's band composed it. It's one of my all time fave songs and the first vinyl single that I bought.

Yes, they are very good - although I think, that this is the weakest song so far. Otherwise they have it all.And they stand really out within today's classic AOR genre. Way better than Nestor, eg.

Yes, it's very strange that there is no information about the support acts in Germany... one of the shows is already sold out, another one is moved to a larger venue. Apparently the ticket sales are good nonetheless...
