I agree in that (by todays standards) "When it comes to love" was a hit. I heard it all the time on Sirus/XM The Blend. That album starts good and just gets too mellow but hey they had a song in rotation and a lot of older bands can't say that.

I agree. Never liked that album either especially after Turbo. While Turbo was typical 80's corporate MTV rock it had plenty of melody and live the songs sounded harder. Erik version is smoother yet heavy.

I started going to shows again this past fall. Many at Mohegan Sun casino. I get free shows and since I'll make a mini vacation out of it. I saw Lou Gramm with John Payne's Asia and Tommy DeCarlo doing a Boston set. Both great shows. What I'm doing now though is trying to see artists I never saw before for the most part. And they tend to play small theaters, so it isn't that expensive. Upc

Wardy just make sure when you buy on Qobuz your get multiple choices. For example I’ll see CD quality 10, Hi-Res 15 and Hi Ees with Sublime 6.99

Qobuz Sublime. Legal and if you pay the yearly fee of $175 (us) you save a ton on Hi-Res. I posted not to long ago in greater detail

Are you in the US? Because I just went to the Qobuz Sublime link without signing in. It only shows RDC Patina both standard and deluxe. Both only in CD quality and $9.99. I do know not signed it brings you to a sign up page. Also if memory serves I initially signed for regular Qobuz. You can buy from there but I do remember being higher. Make sure your searching via "Qobuz Sublime&

Kind of the future for us fans. I'm 57 and our artists are at least 10 years older than us. Another 10 years there will be mostly sanctioned tribute groups. But Tommy does bring it indeed

Scott. I bought that 2 weeks ago and will spin it today on my drive to Mohegan Sun casino. I saw Tommy there 3 weeks ago under the "Tommy Decarlo the singer of Boston". How cow can this guy bring it! What a set of Boston classics. His backing band is great as well. His son is on guitar. The female bass player took all the super high parts and their voices blended perfect. F

CD is great! I actually stream to sample thru Apple Music as its CD quality. And after 2 months of this I can hear the difference between it and Spotify which I set to 320k. Night and day better on Apple Music. Now Hi-Res files even have a higher bitrate. With my earbuds it slighty or not noticeably better than CD quality. But on my home system it so much fuller. Granted I wasn't buying

Wardy. I'm in the US. Not sure if that helps. Heavy Bones is 13.99 and in CD quality. Older albums such as this are not offered in Hi-Res and tend to have no deal. Though 14 is better than eBay I imagine. Now since I'm here I buy rock. All of Frontiers releases the last few years are available at 6.99 in Hi-Res. The only 2 albums I found were high was Tony Lewis solo album from a few years

Completely Legal. Its like Tidal and Spotify and the like. Its a French company. If you use Roon Qobuz and Tidal integrate with it. The cost to just stream is pretty much the same. But if you want to buy the music they sell it. They will sell to you without Sublime. The price will be higher but lower that HD Tracks. For being a Qobuz Sublime Member its $176 a year but you get deep disco

Don't know what the original deals were for units but I find it hard to see when a CD is selling on ebay in the $100's when they could reissue and sell for $20. Why let these people sell them for that price.....if they are original even

Been a long while since I posted. I read posts on occasion and saw Rickyboy mention samples in ITunes. I still use Itunes as my interface. I only buy special edition CD and the rest I prefer Hi-Res. Though sites like HD Tracks charge $18 (US) for a new release and 7 Digital slightly less expensive making the CD cheaper. I have a space issue. But overall I want the best sound thru my syst

I saw them in the US on November 2, 2019, which was my birthday, at Mohegan Sun casino. Liked their big hits but for some reason never followed them. his was pre Covid and supposed to be the last live show. They had one more cruise right after. Based on all the parts I had no idea why they would retire unless they were just tired. Based on performance Phil sang great and nobody missed a be

I've been a fan of Aussie's own for many years now. Acoustic based music. Very mellow and chill. One thing over the yearsin speaking with Joe was wanting to hear his new stuff with a full band. And he does this with his new song off his upcoming album! The song is called Overload. Its what you expect and want from Joe. But I must say the full band expands on his sound. This track has that

Plus from what I understand they settled with who they had to. And the only reason that story jumped out over 10 years ago was because we know these guys from our music. Couldn't blame them for trying a business other than music. And the issue they had is not different that thousands of complaints businesses deal with. I'll focus on this poor kid and donate a few bucks.

CD's, aside from quality of sound, helped ruin a lot of bands. Just because you can put 15 songs and run well over an hour....should you? No! Our classic albums on vinyl had 8-10 songs max. 30-35 min. For the most part we loved ALL the songs! With CD I find you get a lot of filler or you just get bored and walk away. Shorter albums equals the chance at all quality songs. If they need to fi

I get what your saying. But the key to a good instrumental track is the guitar sings. Yngwie is just massive amounts of notes at this stage of his career. One guy I enjoy is Joe Matera. I figured I’d give my fav. Travellin West. Slow and mellow southwest meets light southern rock. Joe has over the year added vocals to his releases. Which is good because I’m not a fan of full on 12 track i

They are also one of those bands that even if the album on a whole is sub par there are always 2-3 great tracks. I also recently got back into and need to listen to the newer material. Disclaimer: Not comparing to Eddie Money career wise but similar in a way to the non-fan. Years ago i saw Dream Theater with ELP and Eddie opening. My friend wanted to skip Eddie as he said he sucks and ha

I also wouldn't venture to say this the Best Sammy song or risk a lifetime ban from the Noticeboard lol. With that said i love it for what it is......a straight ahead rocker. With each listen I appreciate it more. Solid drums, you get to see Vic shine. looks to be a fun rock album and thats what we need.

You can order the DVD or stream for free with Amazon Prime. Its made by Bob Nalbandian. He's done all the excellent Inside Metal DVD's. This one has many a familiar face discussing Branding and how we see all these different versions of the same Band. Check it out and the others
