If you listen closely to the lyrics (along with Mat's phrasing and the riffs) it's obvious that they're just paying tribute to Philip and Thin Lizzy. I wouldn't take it as any more than that.

Had surgery here in Phoenix on Monday. I heard on local radio last night that he was already released from the hospital. Here's a link from a story on azcentral.com from the 21st. He talks about the surgery plus selling one of his cars at the Barrett-Jackson show: http://www.azcentral.com/thingstodo/music/articles/2011/01/21/20110121bret-michaels-heart-surgery-phoenix-barrett-jackson-scottsdale

Mark means he got his cd directly from Ivan Gunn of Faithealer. You can order the cds direct from the band in Europe. Wishing Well is distributing the cd in the U.S. for them, so anyone in the U.S. that doesn't want to pay for overseas shipping can get the cd from us here: www.wishingwellonline.com Definitely one of my favorite albums of 2010. Very classy, melodic and a big sound. NP - Autog

Sounds to me like they used the original backing vocal tracks (so that's probably why it sounds so close to the original). I doubt they would have spent the extra studio time re-recording background vocals. Huff sounds really good. Looking forward to hearing what new tunes they come up with. Trying to confirm this but seen it a few places online within the last hour. Supposedly announced on Sirius Liquid metal tonight. Did anyone hear it? Hadn't heard any news for the last couple months which I thought wasn't good. www.wishingwellonline.com www.facebook.com/Roger.Pamachena

I've sold cds and dvds to Second Spin numerous times, and things went pretty smoothly. I usually received a check within 7-10 days. If they pass on any cds they are sent back separately. Don't send any cds with cracked cases! They will get sent back. I don't think they pay too much for cds anymore (nobody does). Ship your cds by media mail (to save on postage). They don't reimburse you for shippi

"I see you have a couple of PARIAH demo's. I already have "Make Believe" on CD and "Rattle Your Skull" on cassette. Would the "Rattle Your Skull" happen to be a CD?" No, they're both cassettes. I haven't personally seen their early indie releases on cd. www.wishingwellonline.com www.myspace.com/rogerrocket

Would've been cool if they could have played an unplugged set right there in the briefing room and have it broadcast live on CNN. No such luck. LOL http://therightstuffbng.blogspot.com/2009/06/styx-plays-white-house-briefing-room.html www.wishingwellonline.com www.myspace.com/rogerrocket

The singles have more of a synth-pop/new wave feel, but live they definitely have a high energy INXS-type vibe: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8abFQyoahk4 Cool stuff! www.wishingwellonline.com www.myspace.com/rogerrocket

Really cool female fronted band from Germany (really nice people too). At times they remind me of Saraya, Vixen and Allison. We have the cd for sale on the Wishing Well web site. www.wishingwellonline.com www.myspace.com/rogerrocket

As far as I know this is the first batch of stuff the band recorded (that evolved into the first album). The sound quality isn't great, but good. VERY fusion-like. I wonder if anyone knows for sure if it's Prairie Prince or Ansley Dunbar playing drums on the tracks? Judging by the playing I'd guess it's Ansley. Prairie wasn't in the band for too long. www.wishingwellonline.com www.myspace.com/r

You may dig Bjorn Lodin's voice more with his new band Balls. Their new cd 'Chameleon' has a rawer, hard-edged sound. I think Bjorn's vocals work better in that setting. www.wishingwellonline.com www.myspace.com/rogerrocket

Hey Brian, Yeah Amoeba in San Francisco is really cool (it's on Haight Street). We were there in March and spent nearly 3 hours in there. The Amoeba store in Berkeley wasn't very good though. One word of advice about Amoeba (especially if you have your wife and child with you)...They do not have public restrooms, so if you plan on spending a long time in there "take care of business"

"For the other Atenzia fans, what are your favorites? Any you recommend I check out?" By far my favorite Atenzia title is Spin Gallery 'Standing Tall'. Awesome mix of AOR, Pop and West Coast. To me they were kind of like what Work Of Art is doing now. After that it would be Mark Spiro 'King Of The Crows'. I dig most everything he does. www.wishingwellonline.com www.myspace.com/ro

As far as older stuff goes I really dig 'Runaway'. 'Last Standing Man' (Escape/1997) is probably my favorite of the later albums. I know they have a web site where you can order their cds, but I don't remember the URL. Maybe someone else on the board knows? Terrific band! Very underrated IMO. www.wishingwellonline.com www.myspace.com/rogerrocket
