Since no one mentioned it yet - Treat "Coup De Grace" from 2010. Surely the best album of their career. Kent Bates

Without the internet, we would have to rely on mainstream media for all the music. All the bands we discovered in the past 20 years would be nonexistent. Sure, there would be a few acts that broke through, but for the most part we would be complaining about how music was better years before. Yep, we do that now, but at least we have options to explore titles that the internet has allowed us to

While I really love the song, it's just a tad too reminiscent of Treat's "Tangled Up". Great video!!! Kent Bates

Rock Sugar is not available on CD. They did a (frankly) silly campaign where you could buy a coin that had a download code engraved on it that would lead you to the album. There's also the option of downloading it for free, but you have to take part in an internet scavenger hunt which could take months as the band slowly reveal clues to the location of the songs. Anyways, I paid for the damn c

I was also at M3 and could not believe how much I enjoyed Adler's set. Not sure how many know about this, but the full concert is on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_a-jS8xOhI&list=PLk8eTwf9z9beoYrBmjOQ_nLkehZihX4kw&index=40 Kent Bates

I'll be going. I usually skip M3, but since I haven't gone this long without live music since being a teenager, I am craving live music again. I am also skipping Sunday as I felt the lineup wasn't strong enough and wanted to spend the evening fireworks with my family. Kent Bates

If you're interested in Vinnie Vincent Invasion, this is an incredibly in depth account of the drummer's time in the band. 90% of the book is the three years of the band's life. Great stuff. https://www.amazon.com/Boy-Gonna-Rock-Drummers-Hollywood/dp/0966859936/ref=asc_df_0966859936/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312149984830&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=2902016019820773116

I'm in the minority here, but my favorite Yngwie albums are The Seventh Sign and Magnum Opus. I think I like them so much because they came out in the Grunge era and there were scarce albums that sounded good at the time. Anything that resembled decent music I embraced. Kent Bates

While I am grateful for all the music they release, I am glad that they release a bunch of music that does not interest me. Can you imagine if they catered so much to us that we needed to buy everything they release? I would have to sell my house to keep up. Don't think the family would appreciate that. Kent Bates

I would much rather have an artist be accused of releasing too much material as opposed to not enough. It's simple, if I think the Sunbomb is subpar, I don't listen or buy it. I remember Jeff Scott Soto was like this in the 90s/early 2000s. He was all over the place. Talisman, Takara, Axel Rudi Pell, solo stuff. He was releasing product every 6 months. I picked and choose what I loved,

The three coolest things I ever got from a band: A guitar pick from Rick Savage A drum stick from Tommy Aldridge (when he briefly played with Yngwie) A guitar string from Yngwie. He ripped out the strings in front of me during a guitar solo. The string fell to the stage and I grabbed it. Kent Bates
