Thats a nice way to save face. I don't believe MTM would have let TNT go so easily unless the disc was shite, no matter how Mills wants to sugar coat it. The band turned in the disc, MTM thought it sucked, the band didn't want to revise it so MTM said See Ya, pretty simple. What I can't believe is that they managed to get ANY label at all, let alone Marquee, to put it out.

This disc is sooooo far beyond shite....even if they had renamed the band it wouldn't have helped in the slightest. Why else would MTM have rejected the disc? Stick a fork in it already!

There is actually one nearly completed song. All the instruments have been recorded and we are recording vocals this coming saturday in Marcie's studio. It has taken alot of time and effort to get this studio going as it has actually moved physically three times with numerous upgrades throughout. We've built booths, you name it. Marcie is serious about recording again and we hope to toss this on

Since we're on the video/dvd topic... I'm looking to purchase some dvd authoring software soon and would like a heads up if possible on any products that 1) is somewhat user friendly and 2) allows a user to create customs menus and backgrounds, add music, etc. without costing a fortune. Thanks in advance for any help!

'Electrified' and 'Sonic Dynamite' are GREAT!! IMHO they are BETTER than 'Thunderdome'. I could never get into ther Andi Deris era of the band but almost all of the Readman era material is fantastic. I wasn't as impressed with 'Endangered' but still pretty decent. Definately check out 'Electrified' and 'Sonic Dynamite' though!! Bryan

I find it difficult to understand how such a 'great fan' would turn down a plethera of material (for just $3/mo) that has never, EVER been released due to bit rate. Is it as good as it could be? I don't know as I was not in control of the quality of how the songs were ripped from the master source. But again, isn't something better than nothing? And for nearly dirt cheap prices? No offense tak

The Vault downloads are updated monthly and you get anywhere from 3-6 unreleased songs, not usually less that 128 bit rate. Loads of material that has never seen the light of day. At $36/yr thats less than $3/mo...I believe its a great deal! The KK Rarities are no less than 128, many unreleased tracks, the live KK is a radio broadcast so its a def. high quality recording. I believe there may be

Savatage is basicly defunct, and should have been put to rest for good in '93.

Sorry Jack, its just my personal opinion that Criss WAS Savatage. Even with Jon gone for EOT it was still vintage Savatage sound and writting. But with the loss of Criss all of that changed drasticly. Now those later albums COULD be considered as good by some but I feel they shouldn't be titled under banner of Savatage. Chris Caffery is great on Dr. Buther but can't be compared to Criss on any

Early Savatage was pure metal! They started to get more orchestrated with 'Hall of the Mt. King' through 'Streets'. They lost one of the two brothers in the band in 1993, Criss Oliva (guitarist) was killed and in my opinion the band ceased to exist. Criss was such an intregal part of the band and the writing process that he was impossible to replace and therefore the band has blown chunks since.

Three of the main members of Highway 9 were in a previous group called Mr. Reality and I personally found believe the MR album to be superior to H9. I believe its out of print but you can find it cheap on Ebay and is well worth the effort. No clue on the current status of H9 though, sorry. Bryan

This says it for me! I don't believe they're helping their cause in any way with these kinds of tactics. "When you combine this with the whole story about certain Sony/BMG discs installing spyware behind people's back, is it any wonder people download music the way they do?"
