Yes,he's doing the new Priest album, think he is pretty much the go to guy now for classic metal bands unless unfortunately your name is Steve Harris.

Huge fan so have all the albums, the run from Let It Bleed until Goat's Head Soup(The Mick Taylor era) is remarkable but even since then they have been pretty consistent with every later album having about 3 or 4 tracks that equal their very best 60s and 70s material.

Very sad news, forgot how old he was, crazy to think until a week or so ago he was expected to be starting a major stadium tour with the Stones.I read in an interview with him a little while back that he only kept playing out of loyalty to Keith because he said it would break Keith's heart if the Stones retired.

While there is proof out there that they have used some vocal enhancing for Paul, the last twice I have seen them he sounded rough with Gene doing a lot of the vocals. If the whole show was on tape surely they would use better sounding recordings and there would be no need for Gene to take over so many vocal parts?

Amazed they haven't given Andy Sneap a go,surely someone in the Maiden camp must have listened to recent albums by Accept,Saxon,Priest and Testament and had a light bulb moment?Interesting that in a recent interview about Metallica's Black album Bruce said they wouldn't be able to work with a producer calling the shots.Guess at this stage in their career they are happy with the sound they have an

I love the fact that some fans without a hint of irony complain he clowns around on stage and doesn't take the show seriously? This is while interacting with a giant fibreglass Eddie while the singer jumps around in a Biggles flying cap with flamethrowers on his wrists!

I remember that song having quite a lot of hype when it came out as a single in the UK because of it's anti drug message, think it was about the same time as Zammo and the cast of Grange Hill sang Just Say No!
