Why oh dear?!!.....Its nice to see a band reproducing good vocal harmonies WITHOUT backing tapes these days!. Loved Manzi in Arena but would much rather see him performing classic songs in Sweet than in mediocre stuff like Cats In Space!

Oh dear!!...I must have logged on to the wrong website this morning as I wanted to read to about some good old melodic rock and metal. Instead I seem to have been connected to some kind of "remoaning" socialist propaganda site!.. Andrew, your great site has been hacked I fear!!

Good song and certainly better than the first one they released a few weeks ago. Been a fan of Threshold from the very start but neither of the new songs, though good, have really grabbed me yet or got me over excited but I'm still sure the album will be well worth listening to when its released.

Whilst it's good to see him on stage again, it beggars belief some of the comments in here about "how good he sounds" and that people don't realise that he was miming!! I guess it's the same ones who still believe that Kiss never mime either!!

There were a few "Frontiers" releases that were down on Adolfo's great list for release on the 5th but haven't shown yet (Sunstorm and Vanden Plas to name but two). Lets see what next Friday brings :)

Well for me anyway, they have produced another "classic" melodic heavy rock/metal album. On just the first listen alone, I dont think it is "quite" as good as "II" BUT I'm sure it will be in my top 5 releases come the end of the year. Its a continuation of the hard hitting "II" sound but with a slightly toned down metal element this time, I think. Love

Gotta agree with that. Compared to the Dokken vid in this thread and numerous other clips we see from the likes of Bon Jovi, good old Cov, DLR etc, Crue really dont sound too bad at all right now.

Spot on Arthur. ALL caution has gone out of the window from 95% of people now and they think its just like a "bad cold" now. For SOME it is, but also for a lot, both young and old, its far worse than that, yet Boris and his merry man have basically decided that its gone away and is no longer of ANY concern. How hard is it for people to wear a mask on public transport, in shops, inside v

I know! LOL I think it just proves that he never even listened to the song before slagging it off. That's fine though 'cos everyone has their own tastes but at least give it a listen before dismissing it!! I, like rickyboy999, preferred the "older" style of BTB and would prefer them to return to that but still enjoyed their last record and this new song too. Good band.

Another good song from this great band. Must admit though, I much preferred the first new song that they released a few weeks ago.

Its obvious this is him miming, just look at the microphone and his hands seemingly glued to his mouth all song! Not to mention spending most of the song facing away from the audience!! I really cannot believe so many people are THAT stupid to still keep paying good money to witness a sick pantomime like this...but no doubt, whilst they do, JBJ will keep on uhmmm...."singing" (sic)!!

Agree, another cracking song, really looking forward to the new record. As an aside, I saw some footage on YouTube of the band from the 2019 LankaFest today, Graham sounds bloody brilliant, hitting every high note! Compare him at 71 (as he was back then) to the utter embarrassment that is JBJ these days, yet one of them is still somehow conning...er...I mean performing to many thousands every gig

With everyone in their comments above!! That last effort was horrible (apart from "Noise") but now without Marco in the ranks and his amazing powerful vocals, then I fear that the next one will be even worse and drifting even further down Holopainen's "eco warrior/disney" sound direction.

Just reward for a their 35 year long career and amazing musicianship. Ironically "The Alien" is arguably the weakest song on their latest record but who cares! :) Was funny to see that most of the audience clearly had absolutely no idea who DT (and JP) were though!

!!!!.....he makes dear old Cov sound great still! BUT whilst there are still that many gullible people out there who fill stadiums like that listening to the cat screeching sounds emanating from his mouth, then he will keep going! Even worse though are some of the comments on the YouTube video saying how good it was!!!

Tarja, when she was booted from Nightwish and replaced with Anette (excellent singer but NOT for Nightwish!). They have of course since more than rectified that now with Floor!

This was just about my favourite song on their 2020 album. Brilliant and criminally underrated band.

Sounds amazing (as always from this band). High hopes that this will be a record that features in my personal top 5 by the end of this year (touch wood that we get there!!)

Killer album, best release of the year so far. This will be a guaranteed top 5 2022 album for me. Stunning vocals from Dino, yes, its it may not be a lot different from Romeo's "day job" band but in the absence of anything from them, then this fills the void PERFECTLY.

Still don't quite get all the adoration for this band and their music (vocals are a weak link for me) but this is a quite enjoyable album to be fair. A solid 7/10 but nothing special.
