Funny, I was thinking this same subject last night as I was going through my collection and seeing doubles. I would buy something having completely forgotten I already had it. what's the app you use to catalog your collection?

Guys I apologize, I didn't see the thread post back on November 19th. I just saw an email from Don enquiring and he mentioned the thread. I appreciate you checking in. I am doing okay, and fully plan to continue the polls in the New Year. I think Ratt will be my first. Will also take recommendations on others, if I recall I had done 23 already (I still have all the results on a spreadsheet

Thanks Don. Things down here in Kamloops are ok, working a lot. It's radio remote season so I'm going seven days a week with little down time. Trying to check the board every few days. In the new year I will start up my polls again once life is more settled.

Really, I have to re-investigate. Loved the first two, gave the 3rd one spin and put it away never to bring out again.

I love Krokus Don! All the 80's stuff is great, even the little talked about 1988 released "Heart Attack". "Hellraiser" is my favorite of their post 2000 output. Great idea for a poll band.

The Bon Jovi album poll we did on this board back in 2021 asked this very Question, favorite Bon Jovi albums from Crush to Bon Jovi 2020, Results were (39 posters participated so decent sample size): 1. Have A Nice Day 2. Crush 3. Lost Highway 4. Bounce 5. The Circle 6. What About Now 7. This House Is Not For Sale 8. 2020 9. Burning Bridges

I remember being so excited when I heard "It's My Life"...I thought...."OMG They're back!!!". Then when I got the Crush album it was awful. Great opener and closer, I hated everything in between. That said, I have never given it a re-listen since that week I got it in 2000 so I think I need to do so as it seems to be a favorite on this thread. "Have A Nice Day"

Save A Prayer would have been one of the strongest songs on the album had it made it. Great bonus track.

Awesome! I bought Saraya and Bad English the same day on a trip to the West Edmonton Mall in 1989. I also got Stage Dolls S/T/ on that trip.

As a teenager in a small town, most of my music buying was when my family took me on vacation and I had access to big city record stores. Many purchases remind me of those particular vacations and locations. To this day listening to these albums take me back to those trips. Just curious if others have albums that immediately take them back to a vacation they had? My Examples: Autograph -

Loved the title track. I remember I bought the album on a family trip to Disneyland and I picked up GNR's Appetite For Destruction on the same trip. Very poppy polished production which I know bothers some. Agree with Sword And Stone, that song could have replaced many of the filler on the record. I remember seeing a ranking of ALL Kiss songs from their catalog, and Bang Bang You came dead

I think it was the opposite, they changed their sound and the record company wanted a similar record to After The Rain. Here is a copy and paste from their wikipedia page: After several years of touring, the band went into the studio to record their follow-up. The result of this was a darker and harder concept album titled Imaginator. According to Gunnar "it was about the machine that

Gun - Swagger (1994) was one of my favorites from this era. Goo Goo Dolls - Superstar Car Wash (1993), A Boy Named Goo (1995), also very good.

Yes, I'm aware what I said. I also corrected myself in the reply to your response. I bought every book that I came across on Trump since 2016, obviously there are many more from before 2016 and after that didn't make it to the store shelves in my city. Let's put it this way, if I saw it and the price was good, I got it. I guess I'm guilty of a "Trumpian like exaggeration"! lol.

Thank you garyt. I mentioned to Don that Ratt, Loverboy and Goo Goo Dolls are the first coming to mind when starting up again. I had no clue that Goo Goo Dolls "Boxes" was such a good album, I checked it out two weeks and haven't stopped listening since! Goo Goo Dolls are a band that I'm usually up do date on but I completely missed that album.
