That’s human beings stealing other people’s work so not AI although still wrong. Computer generated songs created by taking the characteristics of a singer/musician’s work and using that to make fake music is wrong in my book.

I don’t like the idea of humans losing jobs because of technological advances but unfortunately that’s been happening for centuries. However, when technology is used to benefit people I can accept it but AI generated music isn’t something I can support. Especially when taking a known singer and using that to create a song they never sang. It’s fake.

I remember Pete Burns of Dead or Alive used to work in a record shop called Probe, that I used to go to in Liverpool. He had a reputation for insulting the music tastes of customers who bought records that he didn’t like. He was always dressed to the nines in his mad clothes and make-up and he certainly stood out from the crowd. He married my sisters childhood friend but way after we’d moved

It was absolutely horrific and sickening. Hopefully the injured will all recover soon asap but their lives will never be the same. That poor baby has lost its mum. For fuck sake what is wrong with these people? My heart goes out to everyone affected by this horrible incident.

Steve when I saw your comment about the solo I had to check it out because I’ve never heard Kerry King play anything remote melodic. He makes Tom Morello sound like Neal Schon. So it was no surprise to hear it wasn’t him playing it:-) If there are more solos of this kind on the album it might be worth a punt.

I have it too. The two proper songs are great but the actual instrumental soundtrack stuff doesn’t sound anything like BOC at all and is hardly worth mentioning. Sounds like something from an arcade game.

It certainly does Chris, that’s Symbol I was referring to, Ghost Stories would be worth it’s weight in bronze:-)

It’s excellent and nods to all eras of their catalogue. Try and find one before they end up costing megabucks. Heaven Forbid and Curse of the Hidden Mirror got reissued by Frontiers and they are becoming hard to find so no doubt Symbol Remains will follow suit in a year or so.

The background story to Ghost Stories was made clear from the outset so as to manage people’s expectations. I believe BOC were happy to finish their recording career with Symbol Remains but the label wanted another album so they fulfilled an obligation with some cleaned up old songs. I think most fans will know what they’re getting, some casual fans who don’t know the back story will jus

Sickening, hope he rots in jail. Six years old and a grown man took advantage for his own perverse gratification. Scumbag is too good a word for him.

Saw Triumph at Liverpool Empire on their UK tour (1982 I think). Still have a flyer signed by the band. They were amazing and had one of the best light shows I’d ever seen at the time.

Definitely, I don’t think I’ve ever heard a solo from him and thought to myself ‘WOW!’. His playing might be technically good but it lacks melody.

Premonition is a must if you haven’t heard it. Eye of the Tiger is great but not quite as good as it’s predecessor.

Why would you include Chalfant? He literally stood in for 5 songs at a Herbie Herbert roast. Also, what about Robert Fleischman? He was a member for few months. My list: Steve Perry Steve Augeri Arnel Pineda Greg Rolie Jeff Scott Soto Robert Fleischman

I have numerous albums with programmed drums and synth bass and I can still enjoy the songs but I prefer the sound of acoustic drums and bass guitar. Billy Idol used a lot of programmed drums on his albums but it doesn’t stop me listening to them but the live versions of the songs on BFI which have acoustic drums sound better in my opinion.
