Speaking for myself, and perhaps Don too, we could use a little less WHITE and a little more HEAT here in Canada right now! BRRRRRRR! And to think there's 3 more months of this white shite!!! Anyway, White Heat. Where can I begin? First off, Rick Santers and Triumph's Gil Moore make cameos on their 1989 "We Never Heard of You Either" CD so there's some names involved. I would compare the sound definitely to Giant with some very distinct John Parr overtunes. The first three tracks are solid, classy AOR but, like most CDs, the best songs are clumped at the beginning. What's left is decent, but hardly outstanding, formulaic hard rock. Overall, well-produced but MUCH HEAVIER than BLVD- I don't think that was a completely accurate comparison. Think more along the lines of Giant or Diving For Pearls. True AOR afficianados will find that the first three songs alone are worth the price of admission.
