RE: The Kings...

Wow, I was surprised to see you list this band. I thought I had died and gone to heaven when "The Kings Are Here" finally got released in CD format. I actually bought 3 copies: one to play, one for a spare (in case it ever goes out of print), and one for a friend (hi Tom!). Yet, although I am a Kings fanatic, I somehow suspect that not all of the people posting here would like this band. I don't think they really qualify as an AOR band, and they're definitely not MHR or metal. Their musical style is actually very difficult to pigeon-hole, but I always described them as sounding like a polished, talented, classy garage band. There's a ballad on their "Unstoppable" album that gives me goosebumps every single time I hear it. I can't remember the title, and I don't have the CD with me right now, but some of the first lyrics are "...Futher in the Bible Belt, the moon makes its presence felt..." Ya know the track I'm talkin' 'bout? Classic and c-l-a-s-s-y!!! Cheers.
Don
p.s. - I'm a Frozen Ghost and Glass Tiger fan as well.
