You're absolutely spot on about Sleepy Hollow, Martin. I'd urge people not to dismiss it when they hear about the premise, which sounds so ridiculous I wasn't going to bother with it. But I read some great reviews of the pilot and have really enjoyed the first nine episodes. They've managed to pull of the trick of bringing the action into the present day really well, and have quickly established a coherent mythology and world for the characters to play in. And what characters! Martin is spot on about Crane, and Tom Mison is a real find in a role it seems like he was born to play. The supporting cast are great and the characters, conflicts etc have been really well established. And I love the way it doesn't take itself too seriously, with some biting wit and several laugh out loud moments every episode. In short - this is nothing like the Tim Burton universe from the film and it well and truly stands on its own two legs.
