John Wetton will barely acknowledge John Payne's existence let alone sing his songs.
I believe Dave Gallent's biography of the band was even re-written to remove the years Payne fronted the band - sad!!
No mention of any Payne era releases on website despite Geoff Downes being a fixture and both Howe and Palmer dipping in and out both on record and live performances.
Compounded by Wetton's assertion that Asia could only be the original 4 - until Howe upped sticks recently and all of sudden its just fine to carry on with a new young hotshot guitarist.
