Re: O/T Favorite TV series

The Walking Dead. Its quickly become my all time favorite TV show. And, despite being a horror fan, I've never even been that into zombies. Just a great story and characters. Just wish they'd been able to hang onto Frank Darabont on the business/creative side, though, he's a master at mixing horror and humanity (no wonder he does Stephen King adaptations so well). But yeah, can't wait for it to come back next month.
Other than that I'm not a big TV guy. More into movies. TV shows seem like such a commitment, its intimidating. Jealous of all you guys here that know how to make time for all the shows and music you get into, plus with your families, jobs, etc. Tires me out thinking about it lol Someday I'll learn the secret. Other than The Walking Dead, the most recent show I got into was the American version of The Office (sitcom I know, but it does build on itself, so I suppose it counts), a few years ago, but it was already going downhill by that point.
One more thing...I noticed no one mentioned Entourage (or I missed it if they did - sorry!). Can anyone explain the appeal of that show? Sometimes a movie will be ending and, when I turn the DVD Player off, that show will randomly be on late at night. So sometimes I watch for awhile, but...for the life of me, I just can't get into it or relate. Do you have to be in the entertainment industry to appreciate it? lol
