A win is a win is a win...but blow me they rode thir luck!! It was one of those games, if not one of those campaigns, where you could just sense their name was written on the trpohy. It usually goes against my religion to feel sorry for a German football team beaten on penalties, but they were very unlucky as they battered Chelsea for the majority of that game. But for Drogba, Abramovich would be crying into his beard once again.
The best team on the night lost but yet again we see that if you don't make your superiority count you live to regret it.
Congrats to Chelsea but it also leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. Firstly for seeing that vile, lieing, racist egomaniac John Terry getting the chance to lift the trophy when he should have been banned from the celebrations for his pathetic sending off in the semi. And then there's Drogba getting the glory. I guess cheats do prosper. That game earlier in the tournament, when he was on the floor feigning injury and the camera focussed closely on his 'agonised face' and showed him slyly opening one eye to see what was happening, was an indication of what a disgrace to the game he is when he's doing the unpleasant things.
