This has been on our agenda for quite a while , as to be perfectly honest we felt we were getting a VERY raw deal from Rock City. Thankfully our issues were brought to the attention of the venue owner (Thanks Dave) and after some discussion with him, the owner , who I must add seems like a good guy came back to us offering us a much better all round deal to remain at Rock City. Firefest is , if nothing else, loyal to all those that have helped us out over the years and given the more direct relationship we now have with RC , I certainly do not see us moving anytime soon,despite the fact that many venues are now approaching us with various offers to attract the business to their venue. IF,and I stress IF, we do move for whatever reason we will tell people BEFORE we announce the show, we certainly would not announce it for Rock City and then a few weeks later tell people we are off to London or wherever, as it would be unfair on people that would have reserved accomodation, booked flights, etc. etc. As you should know by now we ALWAYS LISTEN to what people have to say, and we do try and take on board the suggestions that are made each year to improve the show.....and honestly moving out of Notts would be difficult though not impossible after almost 9 shows........Expect FF 10TH ANNIVERSARY 2013 show to be in Nottingham unless we tell you otherwise...long before we announce any line up
