I grew up in the area and enjoyed the first two albums as youthful indiscretions. My voice may be one of the shouts on Yeah, Yeah, Yeah. Probably saw them perform 7 or 8 times under the Kix moniker and a few times in previous incarnations. The Shoes or some such thing. Definitely a fun show, but absolutely, regular punters. Good for testosterone-loaded teens, but little of lasting merit.

In my freshman year, I lobbied to have them play a high school pep rally. We were treated to an abomination named "Headstone Circus" instead. I have no idea what ever happened to them. Maybe they became Poison or something. In retrospect, if I'd have been really cool, I would have suggested Hybrid Ice, but after that winning Battle of the Bands performance, they were priced beyond the budget ($0) of the student council.
