This is the worst Journey album I have heard in decades. What the hell were these guys thinking? No melodic hooks, no big melodies, no bombastic keyboards, ridiculously long and boring songs, Schon's out of placed solos and very cheap sounding production, I cannot believe there are people who think this is the perfect album. Wow... The closest comparison would be Red 13. Neal Schon has ruined this record and I am disappointed to the point where I think they are over as a recording artist. I never really understood all the bashings on Eclipse and I really forced myself into liking this record only to fall short. I can't take people who say this is as good as any classic Journey records in the past seriously. Usually I am not this angry.
