...but nevertheless it became a known Fact,that Stevens was considered "the star of the show" here, given total control over the extend of his guitar input...

just the other day I was browsing through my Collection of old Guitar Magazines from 93 and in an Interview he stated, that the Label + Producer strangely granted HIM more Freedom and "last call" options than Vince... like when he would´ve wanted to do a 2 min guitar Solo in one Song the Exec´s always said: "Sure, go ahead...make it as long as you want" :o)
