Re: Anyone NOT using Auto-Tune these days?

Sounding professional is GOOD thing. But nowadays, lead and harmony vocals are being auto-tuned so blatantly that, it sounds artifial. Orignally, auto-tune was meant to be used in a careful manner that would make it un-noticeable. Now, it has gone from being used, to being abused. Now, almost every singer sounds perfectly in-key. It's become a big cheating system. Plus, it sounds soooo artificial.
This is exactly why I tend to revert back to an era where the music was issued by pure human talent. I love certain new releases too, provided it doesn't sound "artificialized by computer perfection".
As a career musician myself, my ears can usually hear the difference between music that is auto-tuned vs that which is not. It is my personal impulse to dislike computer-perfected music, especially if it is obvious as I hear it being played.
I agree with what my friend Shawn said....that the use of pitch-correction by way of auto-Tune has become" the way of the world these days". I do not dispute that truth, but that doesn't mean I have to like it!!!
So again, I am simply searching for excellent "current" music
(preferrably Melodic Rock) that has NOT been auto-tuned. I started this thread primarily to see what album titles might surface.
