Some good points there Terry, however the following all COULD of saved melodic rock if promoted properly:


HAREM SCAREM: "Mood Swings" was EXACTLY the type of record that mel rock needed at that time - huge guitars but loads of melody to keep everybody happy - I'll say it again - I honestly believe that this was the perfect record at the time

GIANT: "Time to Burn" was heavier and, as above still had the melodic side to it

UNRULY CHILD: Ditto both the above - tougher sounding than Signal, had everything. Most of the above was not too cliche-ridden either (apart from "Take me down nasty")

Suprised you didn't mention the above Terry, what do you think to my choices?
