This reminds me of Torstein Flaknes laid back solo CD "Shoot The Moon" from a few years back.
I'm confident there'll be a good mix of riff ladden rockers and smooth ballads on the new album though!
No I don't love the new track but it's a nice enough moody tune that could grow on me. Yes, it's true it's not going anywhere in therms of building up and leading to a monster chorus but isn't this the same with a song like "Ammunition" from the s/t CD? Sometimes its mood over monster chorus...

By the way does anybody else remember an interview with Jon Bon Jovi in the late 80's/early 90's stating that Stage Dolls were one of his faves? Quite an unexpected choice I thought.
