A few factors I reckon.

The Perry clone, The greatest hits 'remake', cheap retail price and riding on the back of some pretty handy product placement in series like The Soprano's, Family Guy etc.

I liked the album on first release, but hardly listen to it at all now, especially the GH disk. Arnel whilst a good enough impersonator lacks the power and emotion of Perry and to be honest once again too many frigging ballads on the 'new' disk.
