Hate to bring you the news,Rob--but I didn't give a rat's ass about the rerecorded material--haven't even played it all the way through-ever. And the live dvd was a nice bonus. But I'd have been there on release day for just the new cd. And yes--it was worth it,with or w/o the added buyer incentives that came along. Here's the deal--sure,some fanns bought it for the entire package without a keen eye perhaps on the new cd. But I'm sure when they heard it,they were impressed. And that bodes well for the band. Along with the awesome tour(s) with Arnel, they're back on track and in the spotlight again. Never quite achieved it with Augeri due to lack of promo/radio (same old story) support as well as Revelations being quite a bit better than both Augeri-led releases (altho Arrival was pretty damn good if a bit ballad heavy / bad tracking order). With Revelation, they put together the whole package, and fans took notice even w/o radio. And THAT'S a pretty huge feat in this day & age. I'd bet the next one sells quite well for them, espescially if they come up with another winner. T
