While I don't agree with all of what Phil is saying, I do understand his frustration.
I love Kotzen, own pretty much all his albums, but hate the fact that he rarely ever plays in his native country. It sucks that I've never really had the opportunity to see him play live. Trust me, I understand the "business" aspect of booking a US tour and having it be successful (or not), but an easy way around this would be to tour with another equally great guitarist (or two), thus ensuring more of a turn out. But I doubt he would need to. If someone like Gary Hoey (and this is no diss to him, either) can do a proper successful tour of clubs and small theaters, and I've seen him half a dozen times, I don't understand why Kotzen can't, too.
