Glad I moved over to the tech side a decade ago- it's better to be on the side of consumer empowerment - instead of being one of those who are justifying a broken model and trying to drag customers back to the 'way it used to be'

You are right - I am mad at myself for allowing myself to get screwed over by a band that I support ... and their chosen business partners.
But I'm over it- I'll just vote with my wallet- and Cheap Trick won't be getting anything more from me.
Sounds like a great business model- could only come from professionals like you and Frey and Capshaw, etc:
