Bruce were the numbers perhaps down because if it being a 2 and a bit day event? Its a tricky one this years line up was heaven for me but that trip cost us £800 between us before we even ate or drank. Certainly couldn't justify that again next year!

Much as its nice to have just melodic rock the numbers just are not there. Maybe having something a bit different on will encourage extras maybe it won't.

maybe another idea if you were going to continue to have Firefest would be to say have it every 2 years. That way its more of an event to look forward to and gives people time to save some pennies up!
