Absolutely storming gig last night, the band and audience both being well up for it.

I can't imagine Saxon ever playing a duffer these days, but this was special.

Perhaps the fact it was in a reasonably out of they way place meant that it was the hard core fans that made the trip, thereby contributing to the great atmosphere.

The venue itself is a great little place too, bit of faded grandeur.

I forecast that Motorhead will have to work hard to beat Saxon on stage on the forthcoming tour, will be interested to know what people think..
