As you may already know, following on from his appearance with Tyketto at Firefest V at the end of October, Danny Vaughn will be playing two special acoustic Christmas gigs in December, on Friday 12th at Dudley JB's & Saturday 13th & The Cluny in Newcastle. Joing Danny for the shows will be Tony Marshall, Lee Morris & Mike Corfield on keyboards. As Danny comments: I wanted to do things just a touch differently for these shows, turning them into a kind of story teller's night. Instead of it being just myself I'll be bringing along a four piece band and of course the set list will include several of the Tyketto and Vaughn regulars but the plan is also to present a decent amount of the songs that don't often get played live. It's basically going to be a gathering of friends at Christmas with the added benefit of some great music".

What hasn't been announced until now is the fact that the show will be recorded for a planned live release early in 2009. The idea is to release two seperate versions of the live CD. The first, a very special edition will only be available to those who actually attend the gigs and will feature a different track listing to the second version that goes on general release.
